Since I spent a great deal of time reading reviews, looking for decent thermometers, I'm disappointed in the results. Though it tends to get us on the lower end of the range, the reading is extremely fast and I am fairly confident in its accuracy. It does a good job checking my whole family and I use it before going to work every day. This infrared was very handy and convenient, especially with the soft bag included.
