No, you only get the panel mount connector; the unit shown in the first photo and described in the text is what you get. The final image depicts the proper male plug to use with this panel mount connector.
I just finished reassembling my enclosure, but the screws are quite small, about a size 4 because a 4 spade lug fit perfectly.
It is recommended that you use a thermocouple wire because a copper wire could cause a small error in the reading if the connector and the data logger are not at the same temperature. This is also why the contacts in this connector are made of K-type metal. metal, chromel, and alumel thermocouples
I ordered one and used the device's measurements to fit it into a 1/2-inch plywood panel. I just dismantled my enclosure for you, and it appears that you can use up to 0. Metal should be at least one inch thick, if not a little thicker. If you go thicker, an indent on the inside edge (top and bottom) will hold it in place. The height (long dimension) of the cut-out is determined by the panel thickness. It must be done; The opening is higher when the panel is thicker. So I recommend ordering it and determining the correct opening for a snug fit in your enclosure based on the thickness of the panel.

I built a 240V PID controller for homebrewing and used it in it. What am I supposed to say? It's a connector that you get by cutting a hole in a box, and it fits and stays put.
It performs as expected. It arrived in excellent condition. It didn't bother me in the least. It performs admirably!.
For temperature feedback, I used this in a PID temperature controller project. The connection with the male is very secure, and it's very easy to install into a project box.
It works, that's all there is to say about it.
Connects to a thermal coupler with ease. It's fantastic.
