Does this field have the capability of being calibrated?

The thermometer should read 32 degrees every time you fill a cup with ice, then the rest with water. I'm not sure what you mean by this, but to check the calibration fill a cup completely with ice.

In the meantime, I kept my old one at home and ordered a new one for work. Tired of small dial thermoses that are hard to read and the need to constantly calibrate them. A previous model of mine was dropped in a fryer at work and somehow it's still working! If you are looking for a new one, you have a lot of options. After the first order I had was somehow just the probes, Amazon sent out a second order and everything was correct. My apologies for the somewhat confusing replacement, but thanks for the quick response.

Not happy with the results

It has been about five months since I bought it. It is accurate at reading temperatures and I love the color. The probe completely detached from the end as I wiped it clean, so I had to give it 4 stars instead of 5. The show didn't last very long, which is disappointing.
