Yes, it comes with everything you'll need to measure turbidity. Only distilled water will be required to clean the viles after each use.
We bought this instrument for a client, so I'm not sure how reliable it is or how long it will stay in calibration. I know they've used it before, and it seemed to give them a good reading.
It came with calibration standards, as far as I remember, and we didn't have to buy anything else. We don't have it because it was bought for a client.

Although this is a good meter, it does have some flaws. br>br>The meter is simple to operate, calibrates well, and is small and portable. br>br>There are only two calibration standards available: 0 and 100 NTU. While the majority of the samples I collect will fall into this category, I do occasionally have a sample that registers higher than 100. Multiple standards, up to 800 or 1000 NTU, are available from Hach and other high-end brands. The validity of the data is questioned when you don't have standards that allow you to bracket your calibration. I've also yet to come across any information about the standard's expiration date or how to get a replacement.
For testing purposes, this is the ideal complete set. I added a ph strip container, and now I have everything I need for CESCL in one case. I rinse with bottled water and clean with vinegar on a regular basis. I'm glad I went ahead and bought the unit.
Every week, I use it in the field at my job, and it's very simple to calibrate and use.
This meter did a fantastic job. It was my engineer's opinion that it should be included as a metric on every project.
There are no gaps.
If you're on a tight budget, this turbidity meter will suffice. br>It doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that other brands do, but it does the job of monitoring turbidity.
It's a fantastic device that does exactly what you want it to do.
Since the first time it was used, I have been unable to turn it on.
