Yes.
I can't say for certain because I don't work for the EPA, but it measures in FNUs, which are the same as NTUs, which is how the EPA measures turbidity, so you should be fine. Our project received no complaints from inspectors.
This unit was purchased for a client to measure the turbidity of water. The calibration solution is suitable for both liquids and solids. I don't think it's for smoke, but you should double-check with the company.

One is for seawater and the other is for fresh water. Make certain you're buying the right one. For determining turbidity in water, this is a very reliable and accurate meter. Selecting a model should be done with caution. The one for fresh water is different from the one for marine or salt water. On the case or the instrument, there are no markings. The instructions and the salinity range are the only things that are mentioned. Any seller could be unaware of the distinction and sell it as is. You will be very pleased if you know what you require and purchase the appropriate instrument.
Excellent product with acceptable quality, as well as being made from raw materials and being very durablebr>br>Congratulations to you.
The meter worked well and was simple to operate. The only drawback was the limited supply of calibration liquid. A third vial would be useful for storing and using calibration liquid for a longer period of time.
it's fantastic.
Poor instructions; I was unable to calibrate this item because it displayed an air regardless of the procedure used; it is not recommended.
The meter is fantastic, and it's very easy to use. The very flimsy, low-cost carry case disappointed me greatly. It isn't safe in the least.
