The Water-a-Deeper that I bought was to inspect the temperature of the water periodically to make sure it would be ok It would have helped if there were an online video showing how to use this unit before I attempted my first test. Before using this tool for my first test, I read the scant instructions. As soon as I got the reading in ppm, I pressed the button to switch modes, but nothing happened. A simple reset and reading of the PPM would be all that needs to be done. I followed the instructions to turn it off, but it wouldn't turn off after a few attempts. Although I would have kept it, it would have run out of battery and would have been useless. A few days after giving it 3 stars, I decided to give it 4 stars It was tested with Poland Springs water after it had taken 4 hours for it to sort itself out. I did not take any readings. There was an end to it. If it had worked, I would have been very happy because this would have filled a crucial need. will have to decide for yourself what to do, but I do not recommend it.
