It's a dry contact switch, to be sure.
It would be ideal to use 1/2" liquidtite or polytuff.

I've worked as an electrician for nearly 60 years, and this was by far the best Amazon deal I've ever gotten. The flow switch is of excellent quality, and the price was extremely reasonable.
It might be good, but I can't say much about it just yet. It's something I've never done before. Change of plans, but I'll put it to good use later.
