Questions & Answers
The flow rate that triggers the switch cannot be changed, in my opinion. In my experience, it is not adjustable.
Yes, it does, assuming you're talking about the 3/4" switch. Due to the fact that the switch body is only rated for 120 PSIG, the extra wall thickness of schedule 80 pipe is of no use.
Type of Switch: SPST, N. The specifications are shown as (20VA). This is for pilot service, which means it will be used only once. To switch a significant load, an interposing relay is required.
I’m’m pretty sure that it is just a float with a magnet embedded in it and that when the float rises up it somehow trips a switch through the plastic

The flow switch works great, but there was a small leak at the switch when I first installed it in my home's water system because I didn't glue the PVC pipe into the switch well enough. I ended up having to re-cut the entire thing. I was fortunate enough to be able to remove the PVC pipe from the switch and begin again. Because this switch is not made of the same material or has the same geometry as a standard PVC fitting, make sure everything is clean, the pipe is fully seated in the switch, and enough PVC cement is used.
Identical to the first.
The first time I installed this product, it did not work. They don't accept returns, which makes me very unhappy.
When only one faucet is turned on, the switch will make a noise. It's being used to turn on a chlorination pump by triggering a relay.
This is an excellent replacement for a worn-out one.
