This scale is excellent value for money because it is small, portable, has a lid to keep the surface clean, looks sleek and professional, is accurate, and does not feel 'cheap. ' When it comes to larger weights, most scales are accurate, but when it comes to small weights, they aren't. This one was 100% adequate to 1/100th of an oz in accuracy. At very low weights, 1/1000th of an oz rounds, but as the weight increases, the accuracy improves. This scale will suffice for the majority of scale applications. Greater Good's products consistently exceed my expectations, and this pocket scale was no exception (it even comes with two AAA batteries!). This was purchased to replace a previous gram weight scale that had become too finicky. I like that it comes in its own case and is very small, allowing it to be easily tucked into a drawer (or even a purse or pocket if necessary). With a polished scale surface and clean lines (and a very easy-to-read LCD screen), the scale is very appealing aesthetically. I used two 20g calibration weights for a different scale to test the scale's accuracy, and both weights were exactly on the dot. I also like how many units this scale has (I don't think I'll use the Pennyweight or Troy Ounce units very often, but it's nice to have them available if I need them).

The scale is very small and compact. I already had a larger scale that works well for measuring food or other items weighing from a half ounce to a pound, but its accuracy on the really small items was questionable. I really want to like it, but any weight I put on it starts to "lose" weight after a few seconds. So, in order for it to be in the negative, I have to empty the tray, tare it out, and start over. However, if it is not done quickly enough, it will continue to lose weight. When trying to get precise readings, this is aggravating. By the time you actually used it, the return window had passed, and you were left with a $10 paper weight.

I've been refilling the ink cartridges in my printer at home with ink that is identical to the OEM's and costs a lot of money. It saves me a lot of money, but it necessitates that I keep track of how much ink I'm dripping back into the empty cartridge. If you have too much ink, it will all spill out. If you use too little, the printer's meter will give you incorrect refill information. Other larger scales I've used were either inaccurate, wobbled on a flat surface, or failed to turn on soon after being turned on for the first time. I've been using a food scale from Amazon that's made by Greater Good and has a built-in computer for calculating calories by type and weight that I purchased a while ago. It is simply incredible. So I took a look at this portable scale, hoping it would be the last one I needed for weighing those printer cartridges. I've had it for a few weeks and it's great; the scale's size was unexpected, but it weighs more than I anticipated. That's a good thing, because it means it'll stay put on the surface. The rubber feet (one in each corner) have a good grip but are not sticky. It's unlikely that the top cover will be lost in transit because it snaps on and off solidly. The cover can also be used to keep more items on the weighing surface of the scale. Before you add your items, remember to reset the scale to zero so that the results are not skewed. It's just a matter of pressing a single button to reset it to zero. It is turned on by pressing the power button for two seconds, and it is turned off by pressing the same button quickly. As the Amazon description indicates, measurements can be read in a variety of ways, ranging from ounces to grams and beyond. I used my father to check the scale's accuracy. This scale's portability appealed to me tremendously! I had already purchased the Greater Goods bluetooth weight and body fat scale and use it on a daily basis, and I had recently begun my journey into the world of macros, etc. , in order to assist me in achieving my muscle percentage goals. I'd been looking for a good, affordable scale that I could carry around with me to help me keep track of my dietary intake, as I don't always know what an ounce is depending on the food. Furthermore, I enjoy making my own herbal products, so this has been a fantastic addition to my apothecary in terms of assisting me in determining the dry weight of various plants when attempting to make specific body product recipes. Plus, I'm a big fan of the Greater Goods Foundation. Being a native of St. Louis, I think their business model and customer service are fantastic. I'm thrilled to be able to assist them in their efforts. They generously donate a portion of their profits to Love146 and the Global Orphan Project, which is fantastic.
