Thankfully the box arrived in good condition (it was packed inside an Amazon box with the rest of my A smooth movement and holding of the arm was evident. I was able to lock the cabinet without having to use the lock knob. It was clean and clear to see through the glass lens. A programmable LED control was able to control the intensity and color temperature of the LEDs. My opinion of this lamp is that it is well made. Adding a CNC wood and metal workshop to my workshop is a fantastic addition.

There is no double bulb in the lamp It's boxed and beaten up when shipped so when it arrives it's beaten up Over a styrofoam inner box, the outer box is rolled up. As a result of transit damage, the box suffered a number of punctures. There was no damage to the lamp, however. When the lamp moves inside the foam box during transit, the foam is completely destroyed inside. When you open an unpacked box, be prepared for pulverized styrofoam to go everywhere and static to bond to the surfaces. When you first look at it, the magnifying glass appears to be hazy and dirty with some kind of greasy grime that is difficult to remove Here, at least, we have glass, rather than It seems reasonable to expect that there would be some sort of quality control to ensure that clean lamps were sent out rather than It has no exposed springs, so it looks nice. Despite this, the lone adjustment knob is significantly undersized and hardly usable at all when tying up As a result of the compression force of tightening the knob, washers that are too small are distorted. This mechanism isn't likely to last long, so I don't expect it to endure. The glass is not lubricated (it appears to be, except for the glass). When you turn the knob so the knob stays in place, it will not be able to be loosened again without assistance. There is no way this can be accepted. The flimsy knob had to be gripped by a wrench over a rag so that it could be loosened. Despite my disappointment, I have no choice but to move forward. A unit of this quality would be expected to function smoothly at this price point. A lamp made of LEDs is appealing to me. It is a nice touch to adjust the brightness and color temperature. In addition, it is annoying to lose the settings when you turn the lamp Getting started on work requires fiddling again with the controls to get the lamp to light the surface in the same way it did last time. This is a nice 75-watt lamp. It costs around 2 dollars, but as a result it appears like a dollar lamp. Even when it is 5 times that amount, it is still.

The magnifying lamp is well made and of high quality. As I knit, I am able to see the slightest details very clearly with the large lens. There are no exposed springs on this magnifying lamp, as opposed to other magnifying lamps. As well as dimming and adjusting the brightness of the LEDs, you can change the color temperature. This lamp is awesome.

The magnifier of this lamp is too narrow to be useful for anything other than working on printed materials. I bought it for a benchtop work light, but the depth of field is too narrow. It is very uncomfortable to view through the viewing window with such distortion around the periphery. I won't recommend this product for any purpose other than scrapbooking and.
