The OEM Depstech carrying case and the OEM Depstech DS300 endoscope, which were purchased together, are the subject of this review. When attempting to place the DS300 into this carrying case, it does not fit correctly. The endoscope's outside dimensions literally bulge against the zipper, raising concerns about the protection provided if it were to take a small tumble, as well as how the zipper would hold up over time with the case constantly pushing against it. This case could be 1/4" bigger and still fit, but that isn't the case. In addition, $19 is way overpriced for the case's quality and what it is. I bought a small pelican-shaped tool at a local hardware store. style hard case, with foam custom-fit to the endoscope (at a fraction of the price of the OEM case). I'm disappointed that this is the manufacturer's best option for a carrying case. It was sent back and a refund was issued.
This was purchased to house the DEPSTECH "Wireless Endoscope, 5. 0MP Ultra-High Resolution Thin HD Borescope" is a term used to describe a scope that is very thin The semi-standard construction method is used. It's made of a hard shell material that should keep the instrument safe. The top of the box has a small cloth handle. Zipper is a heavy-duty zipper that comes in a variety of colors. heavy-duty nylon with four-corner unzipping for easy access; When the case is fully unzipped, it will lay open. The inside dimensions are 5-inches by 5-inches. 3/4 of an inch square br>br>The endoscope assembly is easy to store in the main compartment. The top of the bag has a mesh zippered section for accessories like the charging cable and tip attachments. The only gripe is that the lovely instruction book will not fit; The zipper should be about a quarter-inch wide. In order to accommodate the book, make it an inch wider. The book, on the other hand, is perfectly sized to fit in the main compartment. br>br>Overall, an essential accessory for safeguarding your endoscope or borescope investment.
This is for my Depstech WF020X WiFi Endoscope, which I purchased. My unit, which is 50 feet long, will unfortunately not fit. WF020 is listed as a supported unit, and it might fit if I coiled the optic cable tight enough, but I dislike putting such tight curves in things (hence the one star off). Because the case is so nice, I decided to keep it and use it for other test equipment I need to transport (mini oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc. ). I couldn't find a larger Depstech case that would fit my endoscope, so I bought an Aenllosi Hard Carrying Case for a DeWalt cutoff grinder tool, which works fine. br>br>UPDATE: They said the unit could hold my device, but it had to be under 10 meters. I still like the case and intend to use it for something else.
1) The picture quality is poor,br>2) Trying to fish this through anything larger than a narrow pipe (I was using it in an air duct) is nearly impossible because the line is stiff wire and is shipped all rolled up, so it's like trying to fish a spring with a camera on the end through an object. br>3) Trying to push it straight down through a duct was also difficult because of the second issue. It would slide along the edges and get hung or sn I eventually had to tie some weight to the end of it to keep it straight and prevent it from coiling up and showing me the side wall instead of the vertical duct. br>3) The device is configured to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi. Fi, which you might think refers to connecting to a device through your home router, actually refers to disconnecting from your home router and connecting to the unit directly as a router. WHAT? Instead of using Bluetooth, why not? It took me a long time to figure out why I couldn't connect my phone to the device, but I finally did. br>br>I decided to keep this thing solely because it's waterproof and can be used to fish through household pipes, but I'd be perfectly happy with another device.
This is the best video endoscope available for the money, with excellent focal length and resolution, as well as adjustable light and sensitivity. The product arrived in excellent condition, and the overall quality appears to be excellent. It even has a hook for stacking items and a right-angle mirror attachment. I can't believe the price is only $50. It also synced without a hitch to my iPhone. The case that is available is of excellent quality as well. This isn't a cheap rip-off by any means.
This is a lovely case. But it was just a tad too small for the endoscope it was paired with as a suggestion/bundle. I stuffed the endoscope inside, but I doubt it will provide much protection given how big it is. I wouldn't suggest using it with the EPSTECH Dual Lens Industrial Endoscope, 1080P Digital Borescope Inspection Camera with 7. Sewer Camera with 4, 9mm IP67 Waterproof Camera Display Size: 3" LCD That suggestion/bundle should also be removed from the website, in my opinion.
There are numerous applications for this product. During storage, the battery dies. Expect to have to charge your device before using it. This unit is very nice. The camera head is connected by a long cable. a very clear image Instead of being friction-fit, the attachments are screwed on. This is significant to me because they do not pull off when passing through a small bore. My tablet was easily paired, and it started up quickly. I've used it with the magnet head to recover screwdrivers that I've left behind equipment, among other things. snagged a wire in an attic by taping it to the end of a telescoping pole with a hook. This is a fantastic device. The case is attractive, and the battery life is adequate. It is also extremely simple to operate. new br>.
