There's so much more to these than the push-on alligator clips. The push-pull of the set of buttons was getting to me The alligator clips I used for my MASTECH MS8261 multimeter were a few inches long. Push the button and see what happens I have used alligator clips (that I was using) and the rubber insulation at the end of each alligator clip hides the hole that the standard end of the probe goes into. It was because of this that I had trouble attaching these old pushbolts The clips did not seem to be attached and even had trouble determining whether My MASTECH MS8261 multimeter has a new version of the probe that has the alligator clips permanently attached, and I find it much easier and quicker to switch between the standard and this new alligator clip probe by just switching which one is plugged in. In the headline, I stated that these new probes are perfect for use with my multimeter.
The alligator clips I had been using to connect the probes of my voltmeter to some alligator clips had been problematic for some time. Now that I have these leads, I wish I had purchased them earlier. There is a shorter lead to the meter than the one that came with it I do not have a problem with this. Compared to the "slip on" clips, the new leads fit snugly into the meter, the clips are much more flexible, have a better grip, and are MUCH easier to use. With it I am able to test continuity in automotive circuits and switches that have 12 volts. After they arrived, I had to test these leads as soon as possible. (Maybe prematurely) This is what I see to date. They are made in China, just so you know.
I absolutely could not get it to work. I found the banana plugs loose on both meters I tested. I did not get any readings for voltage, resistance, or anything else. The plugs fell out when I turned the meter upside down. My garbage bag was full of them.
My Craftsman digital multimeter (Model #82170) fits perfect in this case. It appears that the banana plugs are tightly fitted into the slots, with no signs of loosening. The readouts are the same as those on the original cables that came with the multimeter (with the Compared to the originals, they are just as accurate. It is nice to have the option of hands free connection via the alligator clip connectors. The purchase was a good decision.
In order to function, the plugs need to be in constant contact, but they are too small for that to occur. I am disappointed because the rest of the film seems to be decently produced. In the event they are returned, I will do so.
I'm pleased with the purchase. It is a good price for what you get. As for the multimeter accessories kits, I opted against them since there was too much stuff that I won't likely It is always a good idea to check the critical reviews first. This will quickly show you where any defects lie. Despite this, there were no complaints about these clips.
Since I like these so much, I have purchased more sets of them to ensure that every meter in my house now has a 99% of my needs can be met by this length. Materials feel and look good, and they can withstand rough handling in harsh When I need to test most of my products, I like the square jaws.
I use them with a Fluke 115 MM and they work Tip you will not be able to fit the tips in tight crevices, but they are great if you have enough space and a third hand to hold one tip while the other two are busy.
