I have an old Fluke 79III that fits this.
I don't think that would be the best course of action
Yes, they are compatible with Klein multimeters.
Selected User Reviews For KAIWEETS Soft Silicone Electrician Test Leads Kit CAT III 1000V & CAT IV 600V with Alligator Clips and Needle Probe for Fluke/AstroAI/INNOVA Multimeter Electronic Clamp Meter
At least 30 multimeters are used at least ten years per year My experience with all types of test leads is that these are the best ones in the world. My old test leads have been giving me false readings because of poor contact at the end, so I purchased more than 3 sets recently that have been okay, but not perfect. I found these on Amazon and when I saw the discount and good reviews, I decided to try them. The leads are as close as it gets to perfection, so that was a very good decision. There are numerous ways of hooking into different circuits for good readings, and these are just as good as any of the other brands I have used, including Simpson, Fluke, Tektronix and others. then there are the long straight probes that measure just under 7" - I like those a lot too Suitable for areas that are hard to reach. In addition to alligator clips, there are an assortment of "J-" studs in this kit They seem to work really well because the lead can be clipped directly onto the circuit with the "hook" tip, allowing you to use your hands freely for other tasks. We will have to wait to see how well this kit stands up in the long term, but for now, and hopefully a long time to come, I am very impressed with their construction and quality.
It works well and the clips appear to be perfect. In addition to the probes that came with the multimeter, it did not come with anything else. If you only need to clamp onto wires, this one will do. I like the clamps because they are good quality and stay put when clamped on. In terms of the probes themselves, they are rather impressive, and I am particularly pleased at how the ends pop in and out of the main leads with ease, and without I am very satisfied with the leads, they work perfectly and I am very pleased with my.
I am happy with the purchase. As they had the features I was looking for, I took a chance even though I wasn't sure if they would fit my meter(s). I was indeed looking for that. There are shielded banana plugs at both ends of the leads. There is a hose end and a tip end. Plug the hose end into the meter and plug the tips It is because I can change the tips easily based on what I am trying to do that I like this design. On the black lead (negative, ground), I could have an alligator clip, and on the red lead (positive, power) I could have a pointed tip. Hence, it is easier to probe around without using one's hand (or eating By using this design, I have a variety of tips without each individual tip having a long wire, which keeps the bulk to a minimum. When measuring in crowded quarters, I like use the pointy probes with their insulating sleeves that leave just the tip exposed, which keeps things from blowing up. In case you are feeling frisky, the sleeve can be removed. It's true that the alligator clips are a little on the light side, but they are still absolutely perfect for their intended use. Fits all 3 (oh yes, they all fit in this set I don't want you to judge me) for To ensure your meter accepts shielded banana plugs, make sure you check that your unit is compatible In most cases, yes. I purchased another set after I was so satisfied with this You might want to give it a shot This will be a good gift for you, I think.
It is a pleasure to use these test leads. It is very difficult to get hold of the test leads that are included with the multi-meter that I bought from Harbor Freight for $70. As a design engineer, I have seen these types of leads at circuit board design stations at engineering firms that were of a higher quality and feel like they are medium to high end. In case you're wondering, the wires are rated at 10A. The needle leads are rated at 15A (for those who are curious). The seller should not just put the voltages in the description, but include this as well. It would have been great if they came with a small case, but I'll be getting another set with a larger amperage later and it comes with its own There may have been some sort of oversight in some reviewers' attempts to use the product beyond its intended purpose as some lead ends fell out and alligator clips were broken. I suspect some may have meant trying to use it beyond its intended use. My headphones worked like a charm and were perfectly fine. It did not feel like the probes were super tight, but they stayed in place well. As well as the caps that reveal just the probe tip, or you can remove the cap entirely to reveal a longer probe needle, I liked them. Thanks for the purchase! I'm very pleased with it.
There was definitely a need for replacement test leads on my old Fluke 77 multimeter. I purchased the KaiWEETS Soft Silicone Electrician Test Leads Kit because it came with all the pieces I needed to troubleshoot circuit boards and all at an affordable price when compared to similar Fluke branded leads. There is a tight fit between the connector ends and the Fluke 77 multimeter, which required a little bit of force to get the connector plugs to sit properly, and so the connector ends ended up sitting up about an eighth of an inch from the multimeter. However, they do work quite well once they are seated. There have been no interruptions in the connections. So far, I have not encountered any problems with this set of test leads, other than the fact that they are not swivel-free as were my previous test leads. There may (eventually) be a need to sand down the outside of the sleeves to reduce friction, thus allowing them to rotate better.
It works, but it could be more successful. The majority of the time. On the standard probes, I think the connections are not as tight as they should be. I have no real problem with that, however when I test for continuity, the reading fluctuates a lot, and if I'm using audible indicators, I start to wonder if it is really continuous. I find that the alligator clips and minihooks aren't quite as bad as the standard probes but nothing apart from my 15+ year old leads provides a solid connection like this kit does. The shipping is too expensive. I was unsure whether to return them or get another set, but after testing them again, I've decided that they're functional enough and I don't want to bother returning them. Just to provide a second check in case I have any doubts, I'm keeping my old beat up leads. In a perfect world, I would try a different product if I could go back in time.
