I have no idea where the good reviews came from. My opinion of them is garbage now, so to document just how bad they are before I throw them out, I disassembled one. 1* *
Despite the fact that they appear to be soldered, the picture is actually not soldered. With just a tiny amount of copper wire strands touching the alligator clip, that's it. In this case, there is a very inconsistent and unreliable connection that can barely handle any electrical current. 2. As you can see in the pictures, the insulation is extremely thick so that it makes it look like the copper wire is very large when it is really very small, only a few teeny tiny strands. 1. 2. 3. I just feel that they are cheap and useless in general. For those that did connect, I measured about 1 ohm clip to clip, which is a very high resistance. I repeat myself. I strongly advise you not to buy!.
These are very good and I cannot understand why anyone could give them bad reviews. Try building them yourself. I think they are perfect. Including 60 insulated alligator clips and over 30 feet of wiring, plus soldering them all together plus the time and labor to put it all together. You'll see what I mean if you look at the prices for the wire and clips. I have found they are the perfect fit for my needs and they exceeded my expectations. I think these are very well made and are sold for a low price, much lower than I would pay if I had to assemble them myself. This is a highly recommended product.

Despite what the seller says, the truth is It is a problem with crimped clips that they fail to maintain a low resistance connection over time - End of sentence.
