99% of the time, they are 6 inches shorter than what the black holder indicates. While the Mag is not really strong, I appreciate how long the wires are. They will hold up to what I expect from them.
A shield is something that is protected. Leads like these are very valuable. I can't think of a better meal. This is 25 feet of insulated wire in which insulated boots are used to cover the alligator clips to some extent. When you are in a tight spot and the boots are in the way, they can be slid back down the wire if you do not need them for your application. When you accidentally break one of the alligator clips, it is easy to replace. Despite its strength, the magnetic case is very light. It has been attached to the outside of a vehicle and I have taken it for multiple test drives. My experience with the purchase has been good, and I want to purchase another one.
There are two alligator clips attached to both ends.

Quite a bit larger than expected, but that's what you get for having 30 feet of test-lead wire available. Since there is no strain relief on the reel, you should just be cautious pulling the wires out. No mechanical crimp is applied to the wires, just soldered into the alligator clips. But now you can have a nice reel that stores a lot of test leads together neatly, and it will keep all of them together. makes it a breeze to store, such as on the side of your tool chest. I have included photos below that show a comparison of size (to a used roll of electrical tape), along with closer views of how the alligator clip works. A wire rolled from a reel can deliver up to 10Amps, once it is unrolled. Due to heat, the ampacity of the coil is reduced to 6Amps if all the wire is kept within it. This is definitely a purchase I would make.
The magnet is strong enough to be reliable, and it is long enough for any automotive application An excellent tool! I would have hoped it would be useful! Exactly one of the reasons I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 was because the design could have been better. By having the spinning part on the front instead of the back, or even having the magnet on the front, you would be able to wind and unwind it without having to hold it (which might be It is the back that rotates when winding/unwinding, so you cannot pull out the cord or wind them up while attached to a magnetic surface since the back will spin and potentially scratch the surface.

Having a magnet on the reel made it easy to attach it to the body of the car. It's exactly what I was looking for.
A few months ago, I bought it after experiencing a need for such a tool when troubleshooting a work computer system. A few days after I bought it, I also needed it at home for ringing out a circuit. It's important to use the right tool for the When it comes to adding this tool to your tool belt, don't put it off any longer.
There was one of these sold by MAC and it has the same number but is from a different manufacturer. As a result of an "accident" with the MAC device, I ended up with the new The alligator clips are not as good as the ones the MAC has, so I replaced them with larger ones as soon as I had installed the program. Despite the fact that I have used this product numerous times since the purchase, I have never encountered any problems.
Whenever I need a power and ground connection while using a test light or logic probe under a vehicle, or outside of the vehicle on a boat or motorhome, this is what I use. If you need to work under a vehicle, this magnet would be ideal for attaching to the frame rail.
This is a good product.
