Is it the spark plug wires that you are referring to? I don't think so. The spark on an electronic ignition usually ranges from 30k to 35k It has a 50K volt rating. In high voltage testing, a capacitive probe or an inductance coil is usually used a direct connection is more rare. Suitable for vacuum tube circuits operating at hundreds of volts, this type of probe is suitable for handling traces.

It is very simple to use a passive scope probe. There is no need to spend a lot. These work with both an Analog Discovery 2 USB scope and an old Tek tube scope. Any scope that has an input of 1 Megabyte should be able to use it. It has a fairly wide range of compensation. The 10x/100x switch makes it convenient to adjust. It's been awhile since there was a probe readout scaling factor (there was a side pin on the BNC connector on more expensive probes), The number ten can be easily multiplied by 100 in my mind. The only word of caution is that, as with any "high voltage" probe, the safe working voltage (i. e. Arc over) is at a reduction A voltage vs frequency derating graph is included in the instructions. Make sure you check that as well. As for audio signals, such as those generated by tube amplifiers, no such issue exists.
As I said, after a month, I feel so much better.
It can be used for measuring AC voltages on the mains without It would be a good recommendation.
It works fine and performs I love the price!.
The total opposite of what you want. A single use of the product results in a fried product. A total waste of time.
