Product Description

*The PWM Pulse Frequency module can be used with DC voltages between 3 and 5 volts. A 3V-30V unit with a frequency range of 1Hz to 150kHz/1Hz to 15kHz and output current of 5-30mA is available.
The PWM frequency can be set in two ways normal and accurate. The duty cycle is 1% higher when using the regular mode. Mode with a precision of Steps of 1% in the duty cycle.
*Supports serial communication all data are automatically saved after setting with PWM output, frequency and duty cycle can be set separately duty cycle upper / lower bounds are adjustable with PWM output, frequencies & duty cycles can be set separately.
A square wave signal generator, capable of producing square wave signals for research and development, for controlling the motor driver, and generating adjustable pulses for Dimmer, Speed governor, and MCU Dimmer.
* There is no means to control the output voltage. A voltage of the same magnitude as the input voltage is output. By adding a simple potentiometer, this can easily be changed.

Questions & Answers

Is there a separate channel for each religion?

When GND and PWN are not connected, they will output different signals.

What is the complementary nature of these two outputs?

There is no difference in output between the two.

Am I able to connect a transducer to the ultrasonic system?

If you want to drive your transducer with the output of the generator, you will have to amplify it in order to achieve the proper frequency for As well as coupling the signal with the amplifier, you will need to gate the signal to the amplifier to transmit useful information. It is used to control the TV.

There is a conflict between the sticker, the pcb, and the instructions regarding the terminal. In which case is it ?

The wire must be connected in the manner indicated by the sticker. I'm grateful for your suggestion and will update the instructions as soon as I can. Once again, thank you.

Selected User Reviews For PWM Pulse Frequency Generator, Signal Generator Module DC 3.3V-30V Function Generator 5-30mA 1-Channel 1Hz-150kHz Adjustable Output Duty Cycle Square Wave LCD Display

In terms of quality, WOW is far beyond manufacturers' These are the specifications of the manufacturers A voltage of 12 volts should be used for working In DC 3, it says Three V- The frequency range is 30 volts per 60 Hz One Hz multiplied by 150 kHz frequency accuracy, one percent The duty cycle is 2% at the following I am 0-10% 100 % of current output There are about five of them The output amplitude is 30mA 79 * 43 * 27mm = 3
5/5

Same as input voltage*dimensions79 * 43 * 27mm = 3. I are 11" tall by The sum of 69" * 1 is In the case of temperature 69°C The result of 20 °C divided by 70 °C is It is important to note that the output GND is not isolated from the input Negative

The unit has 2 operation modes
Regular mode with 1% duty cycle steps
Precision mode with 0. 001 duty cycle steps. It has a duty cycle of 1%

There is no output voltage control, which is to say the output voltage is the same as the input voltage
That can be easily changed by adding a simple potentiometer. I set my supply voltage to 3. The display automatically turned on once it reached that level.
Note that when power is supplied, the display will ALWAYS be on
The ON/OFF switch is located on the right-hand side Normally, I would have expected that the frequency of the output PWM signal would be shown with decimal points like on all the other units in their price range, but this unit shows the Hz or the Khz symbol and setting the frequency is incredibly simple! As pictured in the attached picture, the unit was not over 50% duty cycle right out of the box
That is not an error, but a safety mechanism! I am long-term You can now set the lower and upper limits of the Duty Cycle control
That is, if the HI is set to 63, the Duty Cycle knob won't move over 63%

Screenshots in the lab Here is the result of the first test done at a setting of 100Hz with half Duty Cycle

The signal was extremely clean and the Square Wave edges were insanely sharp
The equipment indicated a frequency of 99 Hz. A modulation rate of 615 Hertz or less. We'll try a more difficult situation now
Most of these types of generators struggle at lower frequencies
10Hz 50% Duty Cycle. WOW, amazing
This is probably the cleanest 10Hz square wave I have seen recently. The There are 9623 Hz, which is less than 1. A 4% deviation at 1KHz at 50% duty cycle
Good signal at a 0% deviation
Close to 0 at 2% deviation
There are rare occasions when a product exceeds the manufacturer's specs by a large margin. Given the price, this is quite an excellent deal.

The unit is infuriating
3/5

But the output is not clean. It comes with no instructions and no specifications, so it makes it hard for you to use it

there are 4 things you can adjust on this device frequency, duty cycle, upper and lower limits In my usage case, I would like to dim the LED controller by adjusting the duty cycle and frequency. This unit was bought to test the controller, but for some reason it does not have a way to regulate how the unit is set. In my experience, it seems to randomly cycle between the different adjust modes as you turn the control dial, and in my experience, it often skips from setting to setting while you are trying to adjust something last. Suppose you are in the middle of changing the duty cycle when the frequency starts to adjust. It would then place you into the maximum set while you were trying to adjust the frequency. In that case, if you change the limit setting, the unit moves between the high and low options while you are setting one, making it Additionally, there is a click switch on the encoder, which suggests it could be used to change modes, but rather it is meant to control the duty cycle precision. It seems that that feature could be useful in a world where duty cycles are adjustable. However, that feature would only be useful if duty cycles were adjustable.

On the plus side, the square wave is perfectly flat and The whole experience has been totally disappointing for me. The prospect of this being useful was extremely intriguing to me. Rather than keeping the unit, I am returning it. I hope I can find one that A brief update On the product page of Amazon, I found the manual. There is a problem with my unit's behavior, it does not behave according to the manual. This may simply be a wonky design, or the unit itself may be defective. The item is going back to you either way.

It works well, but the encoder mode timeout is annoying
3/5

Exactly what others have said, a nice little Clean waveforms and stable operation make it an excellent choice. Using a cannibalized USB cable, it works well with 5V output. This is where it gets hairy As far as I know, it is advertised as a PWM generator with frequency and pulse width settings controlled by a When the knob is pushed, the display switches modes and it sounds ideal. Sadly, a truly unfortunate addition had to do with the encoder having an idle detection timeout so it automatically switched to pulse width mode when the knob was briefly idle. It makes a little bit of sense for a 'PWM generator', but we don't really need it for this application. The opposite is true, as this feature severely cripples cases in which the pulse width is constant, with the focus on ongoing frequency adjustment. Despite the omission of this feature, this device would still be a great solution for many other applications, while only slightly decreasing the In this instance, it is better to have more than less. There is no information/advertisement for this 'feature', and I am not happy with this. You should be looking elsewhere if your use case relies primarily on frequency adjustment.

The app is easy to use and incredibly flexible
5/5

I am amazed at the value here. A 555 was going to be required to do some pretty hard tricks to create a square wave for a project I was working on. It did what I needed right out of the box while also providing a way to optimize the design without having to buy extra caps and resistors to get the results All I have to do is press a couple of buttons if I want to change parameters in the future. This was a very good day for me after getting so much done in such a short time. I'm extremely.

It is easy to use and simple to understand I like the package
5/5

I find this to be a very If it is not attached to a panel, it has a closed back that protects the electronics. This housing can also be placed in a rectangular panel cutout. As well as the build quality, it is The power and output terminals are clearly labeled on each of the four screw terminals. When I discovered how to use the single knob control, it was a bit counterintuitive, but it works perfectly once I understood it. In addition, I connected the output to an oscilloscope and verified the settings were producing the expected output. All in all, I am very pleased with the design.
