Product Description

The Arbitrary Waveform Generator is built using an FPGA integrated circuit and a high-performance Among the internal circuitry, we use an active crystal oscillator as our As a result, the signal stability is greatly improved.
The production of precise, stable, low distortion output signals is achieved through the simultaneous use of dual-channel DDS signal and TTL electric level output. The waveform can be set separately for each of the oscillators, such as Sine wave, Square wave, triangle wave, saw tooth wave, pulse wave, white noise, etc. Each group of oscillators can be independently configured.
The linear sweep (max. 999 is the maximum number of characters. There is also a frequency sweep function (9s) and a logarithmic frequency sweep function. A frequency measurement and period measurement are available, as well as positive and negative pulse width measurements and counting functionality.
It is possible to store 99 sets of instrument state parameters set by the user, allowing them to be called up in the production process. An output frequency of 15MHz can be achieved by the Sine Wave. A sampling rate of 200MSa/s is used. There are 60 spaces for saving waveforms that can be customized by the user. Vertical resolution of each of these is 14 bits and each of them has a waveform length of 2048
Ideally suited for electronic engineering, laboratories, production lines, teaching and scientific research, this Signal Generator is a great addition to any lab.

Questions & Answers

Is the generator capable of putting out volts?

You can set the voltage up to 20V using the settings. I measured a maximum of 21 volts peak to peak when there was an open circuit. The voltage measured drops by half when attached to a 50 ohm load (I assume the Koolertron's impedance is 50 ohms, so attaching a 50 ohm load would result in half the voltage being measured). I am also reading some noise in the signal, so that could also be causing the small difference between what I measured on my scope and what was set. I am pointing out that the calibration between my scope and what was set here is different. Those are my thoughts, I hope they help.

Is it possible to generate a 20 Hz sine wave and then add a 50 Hz sine wave What does it have to do with 60 Hz?

There is a potential to generate a sine wave with a frequency of 20 Hz, but what do you mean by "add 50-Hz"? Is there a way to make it 60 Hz? * If you have any problems, you can feel free to contact our customer service email, which is [email protected]. Please let us know if you want us to serve you.

Is there a limit to how much current it can output?

No current can be output at the maximum.

I would like to save several waveforms. Is there any way to do this?

As per the user's manual, there are 60 waveforms that can be configured.

This is a great piece of equipment at a great price

I tested it extensively, and it's incredibly Signal generator made by this company seems to be the best signal generator you can ever find at this price range. User controls are straightforward and easy to use, displays are fine, and clips come with it. I would like to mention these two things I. 1. I love how lightweight it is. According to the inside of the board, it's the same model of board as The thing works great, but it slides around very easily on a bench because it's so light. By hot gluing it down or adding some weight all of those problems are resolved. The second is. This is a standard piece of kit, and the rated frequency may only apply to the sine wave. The biggest difference is that with this, all other (non-sine wave) information may be transferred to the host computer In sine) forms the decay is slowed down more / at a lower frequency. For example, you couldn't use the square wave to drive UHF resonators or the like. If you wanted to do that, however, you'd have to have specialized equipment to make that happen, anyway. I'd like something similar to WindFreak's. 3
(I believe) 10MHz is the highest frequency to which the max amplitude of 20V applies. After that, it is 10 volts. In general, generators lower the voltage to 10V or 15V from the start, so it's nice to see this one goes to 20V for pretty much the entire Four point four. The fact that the frequencies are so accurate and the impedances of the speakers is really impressive to me. Clearly, this was tested and calibrated to the highest standards. At an unbeatable price, this is just a great piece of equipment.

Please click here. So I cannot say how well this function generator works in comparison with others since I have never had any experience with them. Having used the product for over two weeks, I can say it delivered fast, is easy to use so that even a complete noob can figure it out without downloading a manual, and has been performing wonderfully. Your help is greatly appreciated!.

I would recommend it for the price

For my work as an embedded engineer, I need signals that I can test ADCs off and on board. I like it a lot. It is possible to save your settings so that they will be loaded upon Some people claim it goes to some default mode which would be dangerous. However, mine doesn't go to a default mode. Saved settings can be found in the program. These boards are perfect for developing on your typical demo board. The kit will not be helpful to you if you are looking for high voltage or highly accurate signals. There is a visual representation of I am not sure if the step sizes are 10bit or 12bit, but you can see the steps with A 3V Sine 1 will be produced as a result of it. Once you have saved this setting, you can use a 5V DC offset signal for typical board input without blowing your board up every time you power it up. You won't find two better desk buddy scopes for less than $500 than this and the Rigol 1054Z 4 chan scope +upgrade (see youtube).

According to its description, it does exactly what it claims

With its relatively low price and smaller form factor, this is the SigGen for the electronics guy who's on a budget. When you get it out of the box, you're afraid you've been duped. There must be about 4 ounces in this! Nevertheless, this device is surprisingly good at what it does. The price of this product was such a gamble, but it does exactly what it should at this price point. It is easy to use and intuitive to The manual does not need to be read. They're not the best connectors, and if you jerk them around a lot, their noise gets louder, but they're functional. the square waves up to my O scope, and they work as expected, offering a very stable and correct frequency. The square waves round off a little at very high frequencies (>20 GHz). It only operates at 10MHz, but it is able to perform the task. As you can see from the inside, there is plenty of space to glue a brick in there so that it does not move around on the bench, but the actual design looks very good, and is built with This Lattice FPGA is an actual device. This device does what it needs to do for its.

Signal function generator for 15MHz DDS in the Koolertron family
11- My review of the highlighted content was posted on Amazon.

I have no doubt that the Koolertron 15MHsz DDS Signal Function Generator is exactly what I needed to gain a deep This purchase definitely allowed me to understand the field a little better, but when I found literature about oscilloscopes I was surprised to find an item called a "Signal Function Generator. " I took note of this frequently in the literature I read about When I realized I needed to obtain a signal function generator if I wanted to learn how to use an oscilloscope properly, I was shocked. New and used generators which I found to be extremely expensive, but I came across the Koolertron 15M DDS during my search. It is as valuable to the expert as it is to the novice, but from the novice's perspective, I must say that it is EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED if you're wanting to take a big leap forward in your understanding of electronics! However, I understood the Koolertron's functions and modes within 15 minutes of plugging it into my computer. It has an intuitive control panel, and I understood the functions and modes instantly.

It also comes with a software package that allows you to create your own combinations of waves, frequencies, and timing. Your units can be disconnected from the computer after being saved and used for any purposes you like once they have been saved. Despite its low price, it appears to have most (if not all) of the same features as the more powerful, more expensive products. This experience left a lasting impression on me because of how easily and quickly I was able to comprehend the various choices There are many tutorials, various bits of information, and links available on the internet about this unit. You can search it under “JDS-” if you want to learn more about it. I am 6600 An effective signal function generator is the 15M. It appears that I found the information for both the Koolertron and the JDS devices I am 6600 This means that 15M can be applied to everything so there is no shortage of applications In the line "How-to" The purpose of Tos is to learn from it. This tool is crucial for experts and beginners, as well as being at a great price! Rich This is an essential tool for both experienced and new users.

In my opinion, this DDS was better than I expected

One thousand made it all. Ten thousand, a hundred thousand, and one million made it work flawlessly. In my line of work, I repair vintage audio so I don't require anything fast-paced. This is a good value for the money.
