I highly recommend this kit and found it to be easy to build. There were no problems with the quality and solderability of the components. The product does what it says it will. In the kit project, I added a 14-pin IC socket and made it easy to change the IC. If needed, I could simply remove the IC and replace it with a new one. An issue was caused by a missing connector on one of the three pin screws. Neither of the three-pin connectors could be used, so it wasn't worth my time to try and get it.
It's a really nice little function generator for the price. Yes, you may want to understand the components and other things to make life easier, but it's not that complicated. When soldering a small board, be sure to quickly go through the soldering pencil to avoid overheating the.
Kit is great to build, produces good waveforms, and it's really cool to use. There is clear marking on the circuit board that indicates where each component should be soldered. Beginners don't have a hard time building this one.
In spite of the absence of instructions, I noticed that the PCB is clearly labeled, and the components match what is on You should not have any trouble assembling an electronic kit if you have assembled one before. I was amazed by the speed of shipping and the fact that the circuit worked perfectly on the first try.
I really like it! prefer it to some of the other inexpensive (but more expensive) function generators here, which have more knobs etc. It's that easy. Worked for me. Two for the price of one!.
I was very pleased with the item. Photocopies of poor quality do leave something to be desired in the directions.
So I put it in a bag and stick it in my tricks bag.
The code was easy to write and worked right after building it.
