It was a blunder on my part

So I chose blue because I thought it was a nice color, despite the fact that it is difficult to read. Despite the fact that the paper was white. It does not sit well with me. Perhaps it's because I'm used to my old wooden ruler from elementary school, as well as my white triangular engineer/architect scales.
