Cad BP120 is a Cad product. The BP120NiCad Ancestor is a huge step forward. I charged the battery after installing it in the 123 Scopemeter according to the Fluke instruction bulletin that was sent with it - in box - with regard to the battery The next day, the 123 meter was used to perform a battery refresh. I ran a bench test the next day, and the results were as follows: The meter was turned on at 30 a. m. , set to AUTO, with no input leads connected - the battery indicator displayed 100 % capacity, 10: the battery indicator displayed capacity, 10: the battery indicator% At 20 AM, the battery indicator had fallen to 75% capacity, 12: 37 PM (middle of the day) - the battery indicator had fallen below 50% capacity 2: At 43 PM, the battery indicator had fallen to 25% capacity and 4: At 4:00 p. m. , the battery indicator began to show an "X" symbol within its outline. The meter was turned off at 25 p. m. I reconnected the meter to the charger that Fluke had provided. In about an hour, the battery was fully charged. This is what I bought; it claims to be 3000mAh and has a capacity of 4 hours. 8V NI- It is, according to MH on Amazon. br>br>I'm not sure why a previous reviewer wrote that it 'appears to be' something different. Of course, his order could have been mixed up, but mine was not. br>br>as stated, it is the correct part.
