The electrodes come in 11 different sizes. 4 electrodes per package in resealable zip lock bags to keep them fresh. A two-dimensional electrode is a device that has a two-dimensional structure. Our electrodes have a three-year shelf life, and all of them were made in the last year. They are always fresh and have a long shelf life because they are stored for two months.
Since 2005, I've had an Empi TENS machine that is of professional quality. It came with one package of four 2 x 2 and one package of four 2 x 4 electrode wires, which I'm only replacing now because the wire pulled the electrode wire out of the way I was sitting, and I've lost all of my electrodes this way. I don't use it all of the time, but when I have an injury, I will use it every day, sometimes for several weeks. I've found that if you carefully remove the pad after use, make sure it's free of all debris, then rub some clean water over the gel pad, place it back on the strip, and store it in the zip lock bag, they seem to last indefinitely, or at least 13 years, which is how long I've had these pads that still work fine! If you don't clean and store them immediately, they won't last long at all. DISCLAIMER: This is a work in progress. Because I only have the Empi electrodes that came with the TENS unit and have never purchased another brand, the shelf life may be shorter. I'm going to order some today, so we'll see!

Beware. My skin was charred by these pads. They receive a 0 from me. These are low-cost pads that are likely to cause skin irritation. Purchase is not recommended. I'm thinking about bringing a lawsuit against you. These pads are defective Chinese junk, and I used them the same way I used other pads I've owned in the past.
Because most people claim that their product is the best, it can be difficult to judge quality from online photos and descriptions. The reasons I am so happy with these Syrtenty 2" Square TENS Unit Electrodes 2x2 are as follows: Because I wear these with my Tens 7000 unit for about 18 hours a day, I can attest to the fact that they are of high quality and last a long time. I also move the pads to different parts of my body every couple of hours while wearing them, and I remove the pads and stick them to the inside wall of my gym locker twice a day. And, of course, I take them off before showering. The point is that, despite the fact that I stick and unstick the electrodes pads several times a day as I move them around, the electrodes pads continue to stick and the quality of the electric current does not seem to be affected.
br>I went through the rest of the sheets to see if it was just that one four-pack sheet, but it wasn't. br>I'm not sure if there are just bad batches, but this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for, and the lack of adhesive allows the pads to rise, and we all know how painful it is to pulse pads with loose contact. I would not recommend this product.
I'm not sure where these are mass-produced, but the quality control appears to be lacking. The majority of the pads were only effective in one direction. They only had to be re-adhesive two times before they were no longer effective. Worse, some of them had 'hot spots,' where you get fairly intense stinging in a specific area of the pad (I'll assume the pad material isn't uniformly providing TENS voltage). The same pad caused stinging in different locations when it was marked with a pen, whereas other pads did not. br>br>However, the market for these pads suggests that many other brands, all of which are made cheaply, have the same problems.
My wife uses her TENS unit for up to 18 hours a day, so we go through a lot of electrodes, but these are the best so far. I've paid up to $35 for a set of four electrodes that lasted about two days before losing their stickiness; the first set of these (she uses four at a time) is on day six and still works perfectly. I'm currently placing another order; my only concern is that they will become outdated before she uses them, because they last so well. If you use 2x2 electrodes, you should order these because they are thick and appear to be very heavy duty.
These are premium quality items. The adhesive used on these pads is far superior to previous ones I've used. Granted, I've only used four different pad brands in my life. These are a great value per pad, they're prime, and they have the best adhesive I've ever used. I can get 15 uses out of these if I follow the basic care instructions (which are surprisingly well done). When I remove the pads, they do not pull any hair out or bother me, and they remain tacky after being rinsed. br>br>If I find something better, I'll let you know. This is the best deal for great pads, according to the majority of people. Go ahead.
I've been having a lot of trouble finding good replacement electrodes for my TENS machine. They were all too flimsy or didn't have enough "sticky backing" to work properly. These electrodes are of excellent quality and are slightly larger than the ones that came with my TENS machine. The small ones always come loose, which is shocking because these pads do not come off unless you pull them off. The pain relief is much better with these pads than with the smaller ones because they cover a larger area. In addition, each electrode is individually bagged and comes with instructions. A lot number and an expiration date are also printed on each package. Maybe it's a requirement, but I've never seen it on any of the electrodes I've bought before. This company and its electrodes come highly recommended by me. These pads are fantastic, and I will be purchasing more in the future.
These are without a doubt the best electrodes I've ever purchased for my TENS unit in the six years I've had it. Some have come unstuck within minutes of being installed, or the wire connection has broken. I've been using this brand of electrodes for about six months and haven't experienced any of these issues. In fact, I occasionally forget to turn off an electrode and don't realize it until I'm in the shower (am I the only one who does this?). Because the gel material makes good contact with the skin, there's no stinging sensation like there is when the other pads come loose. br>br>These have made me very happy.
