It's about 20mm in diameter (still imperial rms) - m25. Please accept my apologies for the number five answer.
The lens thread is imperial RMS, with 32 threads per inch and a diameter of 1". M25 might be able to accommodate it. 5x075

A clear 228lp/mm or 2 is what I get. Verified resolution of 19 line width (not line pair width) [image - chromium on glass test target, group 7 line 2 is 228 lp/mm) taken with a white light table (no condenser) from this little guy - Given the Rayleigh criterion for blue light (450nm), which suggests a resolution of 2, this is quite impressive. For a NA of 0, a score of 74 is appropriate. 1 because that is the goal. Granted, the Rayleigh criterion isn't the most stringent, but for $24, it's a steal. br>br>UPDATEbr>There is some vignetting when photographing dark areas - not an excessive amount It's perfectly natural.
The storage container was broken when it arrived. The shipping package consisted of a padded envelope that was insufficient in protecting the contents. br>br>Assembly of the lenses is as described. To my eyes, the image is crisp and clear. (I'm at a loss for how to objectively assess performance. ).
The focus on the edges is much better. I purchased the Plan obj's in sizes 4x, 10x, and 40x. They're fantastic. The Plan obj's should be available from Amscope. as an upgrade when purchasing a microscope, and explain the benefits. or a slightly discounted "Upgrade" price. br>br>Are you listening, Amscope?.
You probably don't need to buy these if you're strictly visual (although I would). These are a nice upgrade if you're into that sort of thing.
It's perfectly acceptable. With older objectives, it is not parfocal.
Everything is in good working order, and the article wrap-up is excellent. The shipping was extremely quick.
I've tried it and it's a fantastic option.
