My grid wall is 3 X 3 and it works wonderfully! The 6 X 6 is something I'm not sure about.
A curled bottom can be found on the hooks. They don't need to be clipped to the lower grid to stay in place. It will be held in place by the weight of the item on the hook. These are intended for use with a grid panel rather than a slat wall. I hope you found this information useful.
Yes, many of our customers tell us that they hang art with the grid hooks.
I'm not near my supplies right now, but they're between 1/4 and 3/8" wide with a 1/4" protrusion.

I bought another bag of these based on a hunch and included them with my order. I'm glad I took action; They were exactly what I needed. The hooks are ideal for hanging my artwork because they are easy to put on and take off, have a nice finish, and are very strong!.
This is the second time I've ordered these. The first time was fantastic; they arrived promptly and in excellent condition. They showed up the second time looking as if they'd been thrown through a rock tumbler. Everyone was scratched, and many of them had chipped paint. They didn't appear to be brand new. The first six pulled from the bag are shown in this photo. I would have expected this condition if I had purchased them used on eBay. However, I have higher expectations for a brand new Amazon item. I've requested that they be replaced, and if they arrive in good condition, I'll be able to rate them higher.

The reason for three stars is that they are rough. I'm not sure if we got used ones, but they are rough. When we used them, a few scratched us and had sharp edges, which is not typical of this product, and when they arrived, they were scratched and scuffed up as well. That said, they fit nicely on the shelves and do their job.
I hang my artwork on a grid, which works well, especially for small pieces with a loop I can wrap around the hanger. The only issue I see is that the hanger does not appear to be clipped to the grid. As a result, when I take down a larger work of art (painted on 16" x 5" canvas), I get a lot of strange looks. 5" board from New Zealand) with a small 1. From the grid, a 5" metal picture hanger can be removed, as well as the hanger itself. As a result, I must use one hand to hold the hanger in place while the other is used to remove the art. If there was a way to clip the hangers to the grid in such a way that they could be moved around to accommodate different sizes of artwork, I would give this product a five star rating.
These are ideal for displaying artwork on my grid-style display walls. They're built to last. I did an outdoor art show where the wind was howling, everything was blowing over, and the pictures on the hooks were swaying wildly, but nothing came loose. They took good care of my artwork.
With either a wire or a tooth hanger, this solid construction hangs perfectly from the girds to hold paintings. It's very stable and gives you a lot of options for hanging it.
When someone approaches them to look at my products, they fall off the grid wall. To keep them from falling off the wall, I had to use zip ties. They no longer fall, but they continue to move and make noise, leading my customers to believe they are about to fall and reach out to catch them. br>I would not purchase them in the future. I'd search for some that would be more suitable.
