In spite of not knowing, the distance between the top and bottom hooks seems to be optimized to fit
Gridwalls are 3" high and used with them.
These hooks are not really useful for a standard slatwall application. The size of the top part of the hanger means they must be used from the side of the board in order to be used. As well, since the bottom part of the hanger is not flat, it will stick out and poke up. Gridwall is the only thing that they are good for. Our standard slatwall ends up looking like this (I cannot post the link because it won't let me).
There are about five of them The weight of each hook is one pound. If the grid is not supported at the ends or tied to a wall, too much weight will be placed on it, causing it to fall forward. The 18th of April was yesterday

Even though these hooks are heavy-duty, I did find a few that had sharp edges, so take care. We chose to keep our hooks in place since we travel with our grid wall and carry products and products on hooks. Is this done in a specific way? One of the top pieces that goes over the grid is squeezed by Richard using a pair of grips. If they need to be removed, they will still do so, but won't fly off when we travel. I purchased a grid wall separately with these items and they are working perfectly with one another. This set looks really nice and seems to be sturdy, but they do not fit tightly against the grid. It took me a minute to realize that they aren't meant to fit snugly, however. Neither the top nor bottom snaps on, but rather the top hooks over the horizontal grid wire and the bottom rests against a vertical grid wire. What is hung on the hook is held in place by the pressure from whatever is hung on it. This product is awesome!.
The seats have a very loose fit, however. The workings of these are fine. In any case, they do not fit neatly onto If the hook is on an item, moving it will usually dislodge it. In order to fit the hook over the vertical and horizontal rods simultaneously, mount the grid so the horizontal rods are on the outside. If you want the hook to fit over both the vertical and horizontal rods at the same time, mount the grid with the horizontal bars on.
They fit perfectly on my rack, even though I wasn't sure if they would. Their strength and ease of installation make them the perfect choice. The next time I order more may be sooner than later.

Last weekend I sold these at a fandom convention and they were a big hit! They only got overloaded when I tried to hang 40 necklaces on two hooks at the same time. In its place, I wrote 12 I tried the 15 on each, and they fit perfectly! If you use the gridwalls at conventions like many vendors, they fit as if they were custom built just for them (which, considering the item name, I suppose they are). It is only a negative that these are quite heavy, so keep that in mind if you're flying with them.
I like how easily I can rearrange these hooks and they fit perfectly on the stand they hang on.
