They're about 3 inches long, if I remember correctly. They fit into my grid perfectly!
If you slide them to the left or right, they will move around. They aren't going to fall off or anything, but they will be able to move around freely. I cover my grid walls with burlap and cut a slit in the location where I want my hooks, and they don't move at all. I like the look of burlap with my wood pieces, so I do pyrography or wood burning.

NOT ADJUSTABLE IN THE WAY IT WAS DESCRIBED! I rarely leave reviews unless I am completely satisfied with a product or dissatisfied with a product. This isn't going to be a pleasant experience. br>The concept of these hangers is great for hanging art work, but the description states that they can be adjusted from 1/4 to 1 inch. 1/2" . NOT TRUE! Because they're made of steel, there's no way to adjust anything! I'm getting a gridwall system, which I'm sure will work fine, but I wish the hanging hooks on these were adjustable! The hooks were only 1 /4" wide, and the canvases were 1/2" wide. There is no way to change it! My husband had to use heavy-duty pliers to bend the hangers out of the way so that they could slide between the canvas. frame made of wood Many of them have sawtooth hooks, but the steel was too thick to fit between the hanger and the hook. canvas! They worked fine, but the company should either remove the word "ADJUSTABLE" from the description or make it much more specific. Because they don't fit properly, a couple of my paintings blew off the hooks when it got windy. Not a happy camper, to say the least!.
Heavy duty and a perfect fit for my grid wall display. Because it hangs from the top and doesn't clip into place at the bottom, it's easy to move. To some, this is a disadvantage; however, for me, it is a benefit because I can quickly change my layout. I use it to show off both framed and unframed artwork. photos in frames.
These are a must-have if you're using GridWall display systems. I recently received mine and they are perfect; shipping was prompt, the product was well packaged, and I am extremely pleased.
I hung my pictures on these picture hooks that were attached to the Grid, but they didn't stay up. These appear to be clothing hanger hooks.

Nerf bullets can be hung in baskets! It's just right! It's sturdy.
