This month, I flew from Florida on a domestic flight. to PA. There were no issues at all.
Yes, the top is as shown in the photo, and it makes it easier to close and seal while also being extremely simple to open. The top is not clear and is tinted like the rest of the carrier, as shown in the photos. I have two and love them because they keep the batteries from tumbling around and touching each other.
I am not sure but I believe that the 2302 will not fit in the center.

Small metal clip, long lanyard, seals well, batteries don't move, could fit another battery if the light holder wasn't present. br>br>I'm not blown away, but I wanted to give it a shot. My batteries are stored in a pelican case. It can be used for kayak fishing, hunting, work bags, and getting in and out of the truck. It's a cinch to use. First and foremost, dependability is essential. As of this writing, the durability had not been functionally tested. They will be in the not-too-distant future, and this review will be updated to reflect that. For now,. br>br>Six spare SureFire123A batteries fit perfectly in this spare battery carrier. The batteries fit well when in place, but there is a small amount of extra space for each battery, which can cause the contents to rattle when the case is closed. The batteries don't fall out of their slots; instead, they bounce around a little. TIP: The rattling was greatly reduced by placing a cotton ball (or two) in the case's center. br>br>The case's material appears to be sturdy, and when combined with the provided gasket, it forms a watertight seal, ensuring that your 123A batteries are well protected and ready to use. I took the batteries out of the case, inserted a dry piece of tissue paper, and double-checked that the gasket was properly seated when testing for water resistance. The container was then resealed and run under a steady stream of water for about 1 minute. When the case was finally opened, there was no evidence of water intrusion or capillary spread in the tissue. The case has not been tested for waterproofing or submersion at this time. br>br>The only suggestion or criticism with this case is the lid and body design. The case, in particular, lacks a retainer loop and no way to connect the body to the lid. The company should think about improving its already excellent product. I bought this when it first came out, back in the days of incandescent flashlights. . . and it has never let me down in all the years I've used it. Despite the fact that my old flashlights had been retired for quite some time, this one kept going until it was borrowed and never returned. I tried a few others but they didn't work for me, so I came back to this one on Amazon for a reasonable price. br>br>The size and functionality are excellent. All of my current flashlights require two batteries, so this carrier holds three pairs, which is ideal for my EDC, hiking, and hunting excursions. There was no battery rattling, and it worked well in all types of weather. It's also simple to use with gloves. The small Pelican cases are great, but they're a little too big for what I'm looking for. Is there a way to make it better? br>br>Is there a way to make it better? Everything could be better, especially after so many years on the market. . . so four stars. With that said, it serves its purpose as a carrier, and it's made in the United States, so kudos to Surefire!.
It's very good at what it's supposed to be good at. It gives you a way to keep your spare batteries together and dry while you're out in the field. It was well-made and a little smaller than I had anticipated, which was a plus.
Great CR123 Battery Storage, and it's nice to have 6 batteries on hand at all times. The elements are kept out. The only reason for four stars is that the price could be a little lower, but it's a great battery storage case for your flashlight on the go.
I ordered two, but when I opened the box, I discovered there were six inside. Instead of carrying eight spares, I now have a dozen, resulting in a net gain for me. Its extremely tough construction impressed me the most. The 'o'ring isn't the small, thin kind; it's very robust, and the batteries don't rattle around when the lid is closed, which I didn't expect. Overall, I think this is a fantastic product that will outlast me. This is the product for you if you need a safe, waterproof carrier for situations where you'll need to rely on having working spare batteries.
I enjoyed it so much that I purchased a second one. Carrying spare batteries in this manner is extremely convenient. Everything has a place, and everything has a place.
This is a fantastic battery carrier. There is no rattle, and it is water resistant.
