Actually, it comes from the Yorkshire Steel Mills; in a sense, the "steel sheep" response is correct; the Yorkshire Downs, where the sheep are sent to pasture, are so cold that their wool hardens and "freezes" into steel.
This is a metallic product that will rust and will assist you in achieving the desired patina. I wish you the best of luck with your endeavor.
Hello - For this application, we suggest our 4 steel wool. If you want a 16 pad pack, order Red Devil 0317, and if you want an 8 pad pack, order Red Devil 0327. Thanks! br>Red Devil is a character in the film "Red Devil," which was released in
It's very fine, and I've been using it to clean some of my nice copper pieces. I don't think it'd be suitable for more than a couple of pot scrubs. It's very simple to separate.

So that was fine. br>br>Just a heads up if you haven't used steel wool in a while: steel wool dust will get everywhere. Also, invest in a mask.
I use it in conjunction with vinegar and salt to clean particularly filthy pipes and fittings, as well as Brasso for final cleaning and polishing. br>br>I also successfully cleaned my $400 Ruffoni copper pan with it. It had become extremely tarnished as a result of years of use, and I had put it away for a long time because I was afraid of ruining it if I used anything to clean it.
It's great for scrubbing metal and having a good time at night. I mean, it's steel wool, so it's what it is, but it got the job done quickly and cheaply.
After cleaning them with Murphy's Oil Soap and wiping them down with mineral spirits to remove built-up grime, grease, and cigarette smoke, I used this on my cabinets. The finish is smoother, cleaner, and has a wonderful depth and luster that the cabinets likely never had before, thanks to Howard's Bees wax and carnauba wax emulsion.
As expected, it functions properly. Steel wool can be used for a variety of things, but I bought it specifically to clean the chrome and windows on my truck. The finest steel wool available is 0000 steel wool, which will not scratch chrome or glass. It restored the luster to all of my chrome. I also used it to clean our stainless steel kitchen sink, which was restored to its original condition. Without a doubt, I'll be purchasing more. BTW, I only used water to clean the steel wool; no chemicals were used in any way. I hope you found this review useful.
My auto glass is also cleaned with the super fine pads. (A Cadillac detailer taught me this trick. ) ) There's nothing like it to make glass shine, but it must be completely dry! WARNING: br>br> Make sure these pads aren't used on your car's side mirrors! Although the side mirrors appear to be made of glass, they are usually made of plastic and are easily scratched.
applying for jobs I bought it after reading in a craft book that you should polish copper wire with 0000 steel wool before wire wrapping with it. I don't have much experience with steel wool, but this has worked well for me. br>br>It's very simple to polish my wire with this; simply wrap one of the pads around it and run it up and down a few times. This action also helps to straighten the wire slightly, which is a nice bonus. It's easy to hold in my (non-gloved) hands and doesn't shed any small bits all over my desk. I want to use it for a long time before replacing it, so I'm trying to keep it as dry as possible. Please keep in mind that when this gets wet, it may not perform as well as it does when it's dry. (Steel can rust, and the smaller the fibers are in relation to the overall volume of the product, the greater the surface area, which means more chances for rust. )br>br>Anyway, my wire looks good (and isn't scratched. ) I'm working with non-magnetic copper wire. I'm happy with the result (coated) after I polish with this.
These were purchased to prevent MICE from entering my home through the openings. They've aided so far, but steel wool must be used to cover the entire house and the foundation! Poisons have never worked for me, and I despise traps because setting and emptying them after catching a mouse still gives me the creeps. I also have four electronic "rat killers" that work perfectly. Unfortunately, the light that illuminates when a mouse is executed will illuminate even if there is no mouse inside the housing unit. As a result, it must be checked at least once a day. ELECTROCUTING MICE HELPS ME GET RID OF THEM, AS I HATE MICE. The only thing I treat inhumanely is myself.
