Plexiglas (or generic acrylic) is a stable and safe material to use when frosting cakes or doing other cold-food activities. Before using, make sure to thoroughly clean the item. Acrylics are also commonly used as a solid cake base by many caterers. Warning: br>br> Freshly cut acrylic has sharp edges that can cut the skin and must be filed down to soften them. Alternatively, you could ask for the seller to soften the edges. NOT TO BE HEATED OR USED IN THE OVEN. Also, acrylics are not the best material to use as a cutting board.
That is a question for which I am unsure. It would show the price if they offered a 15" round, but I didn't order one and couldn't find one. Good luck
All plexiglass emits fumes that should not be inhaled.

The price is reasonable, and the shipping is quick. The price is reasonable, and the shipping is quick. It was also very well packed. Initially, this appears to be more expensive than purchasing a sheet and cutting a 35" circle yourself, until you consider the time it will take to cut it. A router, a template, and a costly carbide bit are all required. The summary is accurate - These circles can be used as cake bases, windows, clock faces, table tops, and anything else you can think of. br>br>The edges needed to be filed down because they were a little sharp when delivered. The protective plastic film should not be removed at this time. The square edges were reduced to something safer with a few SLOW 45 degree strokes with a very fine file. If you're lucky, you'll only have to put in 15 minutes of effort. The filing would require a close examination. br>br>If you want shiny edges, rub them with toothpaste for a few minutes and then rinse them thoroughly with water. It takes some effort, but the end result is a gleaming edge! After filing and polishing, thoroughly rinse and dry the entire piece. THEN, and only then, should the protective plastic film be removed. Overall, I'm glad I bought the table top instead of cutting it.
It's all in the title. These acrylic discs arrived in perfect condition and in the size I requested. They were all packaged with a scratch-resistant blue film on both sides. They were significantly less expensive than the top-tier options I considered, and they arrived ahead of schedule. These are what I use to photograph products. Because the protective blue film looked like blue acrylic, I decided to leave it on for some of the shots. I would strongly suggest it.
I'm aware that others have had problems, but the disc arrived quickly and without any problems! Check it out for yourself. Peeling off the plastic was simple for me, but it might be difficult for others. And it's obvious that photographs are invaluable.
A low-cost way to dress up a garden chair. It is well-made. If the need arises, I will purchase again.
I'd like to use them to decorate around several potted plants along a three-foot-high fence that borders a greenbelt on one side, making it less private when people, dogs, and children pass by. I'm hoping to protect the potted plants with these! The most difficult part is getting rid of the blue protective sticky cellophane that has been covering the plexiglass! Is it possible to get rid of it quickly? It's extremely loud and takes an eternity to tear it off!.
They were already cut to size. These were extremely successful. I drilled 4" diameter holes in the lids and covered them with these 6" round silicone covers. These were extremely successful. The best part is that it's already cut to size, so there's no need to waste time cutting the plexi and causing havoc. It's also made of a thick 1/4" material that won't crack or break easily.
This small disk was used to replace shattered glass in a side table on our deck. It's been with us since the beginning of the summer. Even with hard water (when hosing everything off constantly), it's held up beautifully. On it, there are glasses, plates, and other things. I wasn't convinced at first, but I'll use the same plexiglass to replace the second one if it breaks.
I'm going to order some more. br>br>My only minor quibble is that there is one slightly rough spot (consistent across multiple disks) where the cutout began and ended, and there could have been a little more buffing to soften the disk's somewhat sharp top and bottom edges.
