It's a genuine polycarbonate sheet at a fantastic price; at Lowes, the same sheet costs twice as much! Crazy. It's being used to replace a window pane's glass. On one side, you've already put acrylic (plexiglass), and now you're going to put it on the inside.
I used it to make a figure stand, and it added a lot of professionalism. The stand would not look nearly as nice without it. Use a battery-powered electric 6/12-inch blade saw. With a 60-toothed saw blade, I was able to cut right through it. Just take it a little slower than you would if you were cutting wood. It was also no problem to drill through it. With plexi glass, you can't do that. I am extremely pleased with the product, and it is well worth the money.
My desk is made of wood, and the top protection needed to be replaced. I chose to use the Polycarbonate Plastic Sheet as a test. It has a striking resemblance to glass. I am pleased with my purchase.
I used this Plexiglas to replace a window in my garage door that was actually made of glass. I needed a surface to which I could attach an air conditioner fitting without it looking obnoxious. I have a garage gym, and this Plexiglas perfectly matches the look of the glass while also allowing me to keep the garage cool. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and believe it represents excellent value for money.
I placed an order for a 24 x 48-inch sheet. It was exactly 24 inches wide, when I really needed 23, but that was fine because the length was the most important factor. It had to be exactly 48 inches in length. As seen in the illustration. I purchased from them because of their emphasis on precise measurements. It was almost a quarter of an inch off. One ⭐.
Product performed better than expected. I needed it for a tank lid because I have an arowana who likes to jump and has previously broken glass lids. This is ideal because he won't hurt himself and won't be able to break through the lid.
To cut the poly, you'll need a table saw or a band saw. I tried using an exacto knife and tile knives, but neither of them worked. Poly shattering necessitates the use of a fine, sharp blade. It's very clear and keeps small hands away from my display.
A glass door on my hutch was replaced with this. It was a huge success. It has the appearance of being made of glass. Durable and simple to use. Excellent value for money.
