I'm not sure; it's a good square tube that fits over a 4x4 (3 1/2" x 3 1/2") post; it's short, but a standard size; I'm sure you can find a standard end cap for it; however, I haven't tried it.

I would have given this product 5 stars if it hadn't been cut. I ordered a 12 inch piece and received an 11 inch piece, which was 100 inches too short. The piece is 9 inches long. It should be noted if the company intends to sell stock with a shorter term than advertised. The most common form of stock is. xxx and - 0 I don't believe the missing material is responsible for the saw blade's kerf, because there would be no reason to use such a thick blade to cut such soft material. Now I need to figure out how to reconfigure my setup so that I can make two usable pieces from the materials I was given. br>br>Apart from that, the stock is of excellent quality and workmanship.
I suggest paying a little more attention and showing a little more care when cutting the parts. Thanks.
