Questions & Answers
It's just flat nylon stock that's tough and long-lasting. It's comfortable to wear and will not break. It helped me make a bracket for mounting a depth finder beneath the dash of my bass boat. Drills, saws, and taps are all fantastic. There are numerous sizes available. Under a jack's pressure, it will hold up well. No compression is possible.

I bought it with the intention of making guitar nuts out of it (it's historically correct material for Gibson nuts from the 1950s). In my case, nuts were a pain to work with (due to the amount of material removed and the precision cuts required), but that was to be expected. When cut with a dremel cutting disk, it is as tough as nails and does not melt. When sanded, the surface is very smooth and there is very little friction (which is ideal for nuts). There's no need to be concerned because the bar was cut to a very tight tolerance.
