Rolls of lead arrived well contained in small unbreakable containers, which protected them while in transit. As far as the lead itself is concerned, it is fine. I had expected it to arrive during the 2-day prime window, but it took an extra day, which meant our application for the job was not taken into account as we were obligated to finish it. You should be able to handle this product with ease if you give it enough lead time.
Handling should be done with gloves. In my experiment, I used lead to make molds for compost molds because it is easy to mold and doesn't stick to resin. In addition, you can reuse it by simply rolling it back out again with a roller.
There are few places to get it nowadays, but it works great. That's a nice resource to have.
