It would be extremely beneficial to have someone who could locate the zones and demonstrate how to do so. Someone gave me the "Diamond dousing course," which I worked on for a while but didn't do as well as the course demonstrated. The rods themselves were excellent - It's just that I'm not particularly gifted in this area.
Copper is used for the rods and the handles.
I didn't get any instructions with mine, but I'm sure you could find them on YouTube. I can locate water lines, but I'd like to learn how to locate sinkholes from a neighbor.

They are effective. I had a family member come through, and I knew exactly who it was. I asked a question to confirm it, and to my surprise, the family who came through was someone I had completely forgotten about because he died when I was five, but he was extremely close to the family. So my husband was in another room, and I had him come out and ask me some questions in the hopes of fooling him. I asked him a lot of trick questions, but the rods got every single one right, proving it was that family member.
These are fantastic. It's incredibly light, comfortable, and durable. I'd suggest it. Also, I feel compelled to point out that dowsing is not for everyone. It can cause nausea, headaches, and dizziness in some people. Also, getting to know your rods is a good idea. Ask them which option they prefer for yes and no, and after each question, I tell them to open to mine, which they do. You should ask broad questions rather than narrow ones.
One has a problem with the rods. It's warped or bent. When you swing it, it has a click and hangs up. The other one works fine, and I've since purchased a new set that has performed admirably and continues to do so. It was given to me as a present. I was let down by it. I was overjoyed at the prospect of giving this present. Then I thought to myself, "Oh no, these don't swing properly. " It will need to be bent in the tube. I should've ordered the same one I had previously. I bought two sets of them and had no problems with them. Sorry for the rudeness, but I just wanted to give you my honest opinion.
The shipping packaging is a disaster. I haven't been able to make use of it. They showed up hunched over. Even if I straighten them out as much as I can, I suspect this will miss align the proper functionality.

It was a pleasant surprise when these rods worked to locate some energy lines, as I had not expected them to produce any results at all. To advance beyond this point, I'll have to put in a lot more effort.
It's of good quality, and it's kept in a nice fabric container. The main issue I have is that these appear to be out of balance for me. I can't use the L's long arms because they're too long and heavy for me to use accurately. I like the extra section they put in at the top of the handles to make the movement freer, but they're too heavy and awkward for me to use.
