After admiring the ones his friend had erected in his room, my son was given some led light strips by a friend. I was hesitant to hang them on my walls, but I decided that if they had to go up, I didn't want them to blind me every time I walked into his room. To avoid drilling and a slew of holes, we taped these to the wall with 3M tape. The led strips are easily adhered to the channels by peeling and sticking. Cutting with a miter box and hack saw is relatively simple. It takes a little practice to figure out how to use lenses, but once you do, it's simple. It's simple to put in - There's no need to slide in along the length if you don't want to. just in case you were curious. These aren't "immaculate" in any way - It's not quite as good as the seamless light that a Wemo outdoor strip provides, but it's a good compromise.

The LEDs are clearly not diffused in this case, despite the fact that it is supposed to diffuse light. It's a real pity and a disappointment. This is something I would never recommend.

They claim a spotless LED diffuser, but this company clearly relied on photoshop. Make sure you don't fall into the same trap as me by looking at my photo. This is a false advertisement! It was a huge letdown! BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE! br>br>Don't even get me started on the installation or the flimsy clips they sent. I'm glad I ordered the extra brackets because otherwise I would have been completely screwed.

Originally, I planned to use Phillips hue light strips for these, but I changed my mind and went with another brand. It was simple to install, and the diffuser was simple to pop in, unlike some other brands that require you to slide the diffuser in from one side and slide it all the way to the other.

I like using these because they conceal the lights as advertised, the adhesive adheres well (I haven't had one fall off yet), and the installation is relatively simple. The only thing I'll say is that they come in long strips about 2 1/2 feet long, so you'll have to cut them with a Saul if you want it to go all the way across your wall if the size isn't perfect, or buy some shorter lengths.
