Questions & Answers
The covers have the same diffuse effect. However, the newly-acquired UV Frosted Lens Diffuser Covers are more UV resistant than regular ones, effectively preventing them from turning yellow after extended use.
Hello there, we're sorry, but we don't have a separate clear cover for U103 at the moment. We have a white channel with a clear cover if you require it. You can find it by searching for B085Q4SXX7. Muzata U1SW BT is another option if you require a black channel with a clear cover.
The screw is M3*12mm in size. Thank you very much.

The led strip must remain attached to the backside of the channel under the counter; otherwise, the led string will lay on the diffuser, defeating the purpose of the deep channel. Because the glue used on lower-cost strips does not hold it in place well, having some attachment plastic straps to hold the string in place would be an improvement. The led string is held in place by gravity, so facing the channel up is not a problem. It's a little difficult to get the diffuser started, but once it's up and running, it's fairly simple to snap into place.
The channels are fantastic in and of themselves, but the diffusers are completely useless. I had hoped that the Smokey finish would help hide the white strip, but it's still visible. br>br>Recently updated: Because the cover didn't hide the strip, I wrapped them around the inner edge, which worked reasonably well; the led strip is not visible when sitting at the desk. Although the results were not what I had hoped for, they turned out to be satisfactory. br>br>Overall, I would recommend this for low-budget projects or those who enjoy the effect.
The translucent cover allows for easy viewing of the individual LEDs. I eventually added a layer of thin packing foam, which helped but didn't completely solve the problem. For the best performance, I strongly advise getting LEDs on the light strip that are as close together as possible.
These were used to give recessed and under cabinet LED strip lights a more finished look. The black aluminum was of good quality, with a nice finish on the paint. With a regular chop saw, cutting cleanly is simple. The covers snapped on easily; there was no need to'slide' them on, which was a big plus in terms of planning and placement. I didn't use the included mounting clips because it was much easier to pre-assemble everything myself. Drill a couple of holes in the top side of the channel and secure with a few small screws. Note: Stick a couple of pieces of double-sided tape in the channel to keep it from slipping out of place while you're fastening it. Apply tape to the channel's backside. I was also concerned that the cover's smoky color would dim/obscure the light from my 2700k strip; It wasn't the case. I suppose if I were using them in more visible locations, I'd prefer longer lengths, but since I'm not, they're fine.
I placed an order for the LN1 spotless series. It isn't spotless in any way. The led spots are clearly visible. What's worse is that I put it all together, cut the wires, and then turned it on, so there's no way for me to get a refund. You'd think that for 55 dollars, they'd deliver on their promises. There will be no more.
When used with the hue light strips that these are advertised to be used with, the diffusion looks nothing like what they advertise (smooth/neon-like). I was disappointed with how it turned out. br>br>To get even decent results, you'll need an LED strip with a high density of LEDs per inch.
The channel, on the other hand, is excellent. The black metal channel is an excellent size, fits perfectly in drywall, and is simple to cut and work with. The word "defuser" comes to mind. I'm disappointed that it doesn't defuse any hot spots. However, clicking it in makes it very simple to set up. If you want to get rid of the hot spots, get some milky defuser.
Not exactly spick and span. It was a waste of money.
