Questions & Answers

What is the total number of end caps included in the package? Is it possible to buy more clips and caps?

There are a total of 20 end caps in the box. Separately purchased accessories are currently unavailable.

Is it possible to use a 12mm led strip in this channel?

Yes. "Max. Width of the LED Strip: 12mm".

Can I mount these on the wall shining straight up and not see the dots on the wall if the light is diffused enough?

Yes. For under cabinet lighting, I use 2835 LED strips with 600 LEDs per roll (twice as many as typical) that are fully defused.

Is it possible that those white light strip connectors will fit in the channel? such as: http: //www. amazon. com/hitlights-com/hitlights-com/hitlights-com/ smd3528- gapless- light- https://www.amazon.com/dp/b00h7ildrw/connector/dp/b00h7ildrw/ ?

The inside width of the channel is just under 12mm, according to my measurements. the snap-on's dimensions The connectors aren't shown, but based on the images, I'd say they're well over 12mm wide (for comparison, the LED strip is 8mm wide). I made use of a push-to-talk device. on type connector, leaving a small gap between channels for the connector to fit through.

However, it is expensive
5/5

The LED light strip installation looked fantastic thanks to these tracks. We installed them along the edge of our patio roof, which helps the LED dots blend in better. Individual dots can still be seen, even when the brightness is reduced to the lowest level. We would use a lot more of these if they weren't so expensive. We didn't use the clips because they made the aluminum protrude from the wood, so we simply drilled two holes in each and screwed straight through. We staggered the covers so that the cracks did not line up with the channel's ends, allowing them to remain in a perfectly straight line.

Great product with only one minor flaw
4/5

This aluminum channel was purchased to hold and enhance the appearance of a red LED ribbon that will serve as a flashing warning signal when a room becomes too hot. The construction is flawless, and it will be ideal for our needs. Grooves run the length of the channel on both sides, allowing it to snap into the mounting clips that come with it. Twenty plastic mounting clips with countersunk screws, as well as twenty end caps, are included. This means that if you cut each 1 meter stick in half, you'll have enough clips to mount the channel. The countersunk screws do not go far enough into the countersunk hole, which is my only concern. The screw head protrudes from the countersunk hole by less than 1 mm, which is just enough to keep the channel from snapping in and staying in place. br>br>While the price appears to be a little high, it is a good product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a channel to mount LED ribbon. All I need to do now is go out and get some smaller headed screws. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> I bought the same screw type, but in the next smaller size, and it fits perfectly; I believe it was a 6. I painted the channel black so it blends in with the rest of the room.

Review of an Electrical Contractor - Thank you so much
5/5

I've installed these for a variety of customers, and they've all been pleased with the results. They're simple to set up and much less expensive than most other options on the market. With a cost of $3 per foot and a cost of $2 per foot for tape light, the total cost is only $5 per foot, which is extremely low. The tape light alone, without this channel, costs most lighting companies $30 per foot. Yes, clipping them into the mounts they provide can be difficult, but just make sure the provided screws are fully inserted and the mounts are securely fastened. Then, on one side, place the channel at an angle and bang it in with your palm; I've never had a problem with them falling down or not snapping in properly. Using these instead of the tape light on the wood looks a lot better. On a granite countertop, the cover diffuses the LED lights, making them less bright. They're good for up lighting because they prevent dust from collecting on the LED electrodes, as you can see in the pictures. These were required for a successful installation because I had issues with the adhesive not staying on the wood due to the tape light. I've bought a lot of these and hope they don't stop making them because they're fantastic.

It would be fantastic if they could come up with a clip solution that
3/5

It would be fantastic if they could come up with a clip that is the same width as the channel. I was embedding these in wood and wanted to keep it as clean as possible, but the supplied clips meant I'd have extra space around the channel. Rather than using the clip, I ended up simply screwing the channel into the metal. Heat dissipation is now my only concern.

I like them a lot
5/5

I like them a lot. They were simple to use; however, inserting the plastic cover proved to be more difficult than I had anticipated. They were simple to cut to length with a miter saw, and the led strips adhered to the channel nicely. The diffuser cover does a good job of reducing the effect of the spotlight.

They do an excellent job and complete the tasks assigned to them
5/5

They do an excellent job and complete the tasks assigned to them. A Dremel is an excellent tool for cutting. Although they are a little difficult to snap into mounts, you can rest assured that they will stay put. It looks more professional than simply sticking the LED strips directly to the cabinets, as many installers appear to do. I believe it aids in light diffusion as well.

Great price, excellent performance, but shoddy clipping
4/5

Aluminum channel with a nice appearance at a great price. In these channels, I used XKTTSUEERCRR 3014 SMD strips for under-voltage protection. cabinet as well as inside lighting in the pantry Both of these projects turned out beautifully. The clips that come with this are total garbage, as others have pointed out. Simply mount it with some heavy-duty double-sided 3M tape and you're good to go.

It does a good job of diffusing the light from the LEDs
5/5

It did a good job of diffusing the light from the LEDs and was simple to install on the wall. When putting on multiple channels, extra caution is required to ensure that the clips align end to end, but this is not difficult if you plan ahead. If you don't use an extra clip in the middle, reinstalling the diffuser can be difficult.
