There are mounting clips, but they do not work. I like this a lot. It does not work at all with the mounting clips. Although the clips are not countersunk far enough for the screws to go in flush with them, they are not deeply recessed. If the track isn't in the clip, it won't appear in the video. I tried one screw, but because the metal was so bad, it cracked in half when I tightened it up with my 68 year old wrist. Having a collection of statues, I wanted to light them. At first, I attached basic wood trim with LED strips, 45 degrees away from the statues. It was very uncomfortable to look at the LED lights because of the glare they cast in your eyes. Besides being an elegant solution, these aluminum cable channels feature frosted covers that reduce glare to a very high level. A 90 degree angle looks much better than a 60 degree angle. My led light strips came with a controller and I plugged them into the aluminum channels, covering them with the frosted covers that came with the kit. Looks professional and is easy to install. My wife was even impressed by the fact that I connected the unit to a smart plug and can control the unit with a remote, an iPhone app, or Alexa.
