My RV slides were built with these angled plastics used as a sweep for my seals. Essentially, the slide is used to catch the seal when the slide is extended so that the seal flips out, improving the seal's appearance. Although I'm yet to engage my slides with the plastics in place, I believe they will perform as I expect for a sweep for sealing purposes.
