Questions & Answers

What's the air flow like on this tape? The ideal thing would be for it not to contain any of those things. ?

There is more cloth to it The lens is not 100% occlusive, but it does appear to be quite effective. The gauze dressings can be reinforced or dressed frames can be made (I'm As well as labeling my shirts, I tape over the tags with it! A washing or two will not harm it. The tags keep me from ripping my shirts (because I hate tags).

What kind of tape does it have? Is it free of latex? Due to an allergy to latex and adhesives, I cannot wear them. I am grateful for your help. ?

After using for 3 weeks, I developed an allergy to latex, but after using for 3 weeks, I had no issues. The only bandaid I can use (irrespective of what brand) does not cause me to get an itchy bubble rash! After using Hypafix tape on my surgical wound, THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. A hundred percent is my recommendation. It is guaranteed that you will be satisfied.

Has anyone tried using this tape over insulin pump cgms for the purpose of extending the life of them?

I'm pleased to report that it works perfectly. The sheet holds up for about 7 days through showers, then I trim the peeling edges and put a second sheet over it. Afterward, pull out all of it at the end of 14 days. Libre Freestyle 14 day CGM, the first of its kind.

A true hypochondriac This substance is very sticky, and it is allergenic
5/5

There is a lot of hypocrisy here An allergenic substance. The skin of my child with diabetes is extremely sensitive to adhesives. Even adhesives that are labeled for "sensitive skin" can cause dramatic skin reactions. The child requires insulin pumps and glucose monitors taped around him 24 hours a day for the rest of his life. Nevertheless, we have been taping down his devices with Hypafix for the last three years, and it has not caused him problems. It's sticky enough that his devices stay in place for 6 months before they fall off. Most of the time, we don't need to rebook after 7 consecutive days If he has been especially sweaty while competing in sports or swimming a lot, he probably shouldn't tape.

A STICK - A thin film BEING BREATHABLE This is VERSATILE
5/5

I did NOT find Hyperfix itchy, it is very BREATHABLE, and not irritating to my skin. A stony problem may also cause the substance to stick to a WEEPING skin. I use this product for tissue degradation and to extend the life of my ostomies because my skin folds sweat a lot. It always works best for me to apply CALAMINE lotion on the weepy areas first, and let the CALAMINE lotion dry for a short time, after that I use the ORIGINAL CALAMINE lotion to drying and absorb the weeping areas. While I have a few options for retention tape, only the HYPAFIX tape clings to the lotion, yeast cream, etc and still sticks! But it is easy to remove as well. I'm amazed at the results since I used an identical McKesson tape, but I went into a "scratching scraping rage" whereas the 2nd tape did not. It seems as if HYPAFIX did not cause me so much pain when I scratched. Use a sharp scissor from the paper side to cut * Note to the user* Cut using a sharp scissor. The cloth side sticks to szizzors if it is cut from the cloth side. Although not that big of a deal, the issue is Please also note There will be some difficulty in removing the paper backing after it has been cut, but this trick works every time. On the tape side of the tape strip, place your finger or thumb on the OUTER EDGE of the tape strip and lightly pull your finger over the tape towards the center. You will be able to easily apply it once it starts to come off the backing. The next step is to start on the middle edge rather than either end, but try what works best. Also, the paper is 2 inches wide but is split. This will be one inch wide when that is desired. Each site has its own set of both. In addition to the cloth of the ostomy bag, HYPAFIX is also suited to adhere to the skin simultaneously. That sounds like something I would enjoy. It's a great deal for 10 yards for only $10 and it could be used in so many ways around the house. When I figure out how to attach photos to this site, I will do so.

This is fantastic! The software I use, Hypafix, has been around for quite some time
5/5

I wrote a review of a tape measuring 2 inches by 10 feet a few days ago. My review was negatively impacted in the past because I mistakenly felt I hadn't received a set of two boxes when I placed my What's the point? The only time I've seen more than one box has been when I was almost done using it. Having shown my son where the box of small bandages was kept today, however, I came upon a strange bag that I opened as I was going through the box. I placed the second box of Hypafix on the shelf right next to the first one. Apparently, I made a bad review before I was supposed to. I apologize to the seller for the mistake. The reason I use Hypafix in both sizes is threefold It straps and stabilizes my left knee when it becomes weak when I am wearing it (1). I use it when I have restless leg syndrome to tighten my foot so that it cannot flex. (2) The basic idea is that I'm forcing my foot to remain I will not be able to jerk my whole leg if my foot cannot flex since it all starts with I think it's pretty cool! It would not have been possible without (3) I have minor operations less frequently than most people. In addition to the Hypafix, I use a lot of other tools.

You have a lot of great material here
5/5

Since I was diagnosed with skin cancer twenty years ago, I have been using this product. More than a dozen surgeries have taken place in my body, and I have tried a number of Here is what I've found to be the best. The dressing is also used by my surgeon to treat the wound at first. I like the fact that it's breathable, and that it has a good amount of stretch so I can apply pressure when The film has great adhesion properties but also comes off easily. It's also very flexible and has strong adhesion properties. You have to change your dressings twice a day for 7 days if you have to wear them 7 days a week The first 10 days are gone. In the past, when covering the wound with other products, I found my skin painfully raw because of the adhesive material that was building up under the bandage, making the bandage stick excessively. I used to get it at drug stores, but lately they have stopped stocking it.

I used to get it at drug stores, but lately they have stopped stocking it. The item has also never been listed on any Internet site that I searched until today. The fact that I found it again, here on Amazon, makes me very happy.

This bandage keeps hair from being ripped off and does not irritate the Though I did not need both boxes of Hypafix tape, I was happy I could purchase it online

You get what you pay for, though it is not cheap

Most ER nurses will use this as their standard procedure. In our home, my 3 brothers and I were as tough and tumble as we could possibly I thought that since I've got four children, I'd be well qualified to speak for myself on bandages, dressings, casts, and stitches. In my opinion, Hypafix is the best on the market. It leaves no sticky residue at all. One thing to keep in mind with zero residue tapes Also, it stays in place on the fingers, elbows, and feet. Aside from the price and the fact that it needs to be cut with scissors or a sharp knife, it's only drawbacks are its time and cost.

You have a lot of great material here

There are many benefits to using Hypafix tape. While I was in the hospital, they used it on me. Once I got out and had to supply my own supplies, I started buying it on my own. In contrast to other tapes, this one not only sticks but comes off really easily as well. I have been having to bandage again because my scar is right where my belt weighs down on my hip area and it has become raw, but this tape holds up under the belt pressure and sweat. With multiple changes throughout the day, I have only experienced a couple of cases where the tape has ripped off skin or scar tissue and I apply the tape to the same area every day. My next purchase will probably be the same one I bought before.

This is the best tape I've ever heard
5/5

Keep it in place! In addition to covering my transmitter, I also use this tape for coating In addition to preventing me from ripping out costly sensors, this bandage does not peel off of my skin, which I find very convenient. I don't have to peel the oval tape off when I remove the sensors which is great. It doesn't stick to the oval tape that comes with the sensors either. I highly recommend this book!.
