It's 1200 watts, as far as I recall. I only use it for 10 to 15 minutes, so it's about the same as blow drying my hair once. A quarter kilowatt-hour per day is a good estimate. It would take about 1.25 hours to cook you medium well done if you ran it for an hour (the default winter timer). 2Kwh. I hope this has provided you with a satisfactory response to your query. This device is most likely prohibitively expensive, but oh! I absolutely adore it! I got it last night and used it for the first time last night, and it was wonderful to get into a nice warm bed. In response to complaints that the hose is too short, the cord is too short, and so on. My bed is a California King platform bed that is very tall. At the foot of the bed, I placed a small ottoman on which I placed the warmer. It was a total success. This is something I would strongly recommend to anyone who wants to get into a very warm bed at night without using an electric blanket. Love it! br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. I still adore this little device, especially on cold Colorado winter nights, but I've noticed that it's giving me an error message, and it's going to shut down. To get it to start up again, you must first unplug it and then reconnect it. I'll have to do some research to see if there's anything I can learn about this, but for the price and the fact that it's only been a year, it shouldn't be broken.
Okay- UPDATE 10/26/20: I discovered that the problem was due to a hose malfunction. So I started positioning the heater so that the hose didn't bend too much, and I haven't had a problem since. This is still one of my favorite things, and getting up in the middle of the night to potty train a puppy has been a dream come true! I turn it on as I leave the room, and when we return, the bed is nice and toasty. This is a device that I really enjoy using.
I used to use our hair dryer to warm up my wife's side of the bed. It only took a few minutes of waving a 1500-watt hair dryer around while holding the sheets up to get the job done. That's all there is to it. with the help of a timer as well as a mediocre design (cord is too short). Hose is far too short. The tab used to keep the covers in place is too short and ineffective). Despite the $93 price tag (which has since been reduced after Christmas), I thought it would make a wonderful gift. It was the first time I set it up for her. I had to set her pillow up vertically the long way to get the warm air to circulate better by tenting the covers. You can't simply change the time to whatever you want it to be. The quickest time was 15 minutes, which was roughly three to five times longer than my previous hair dryer routing, but it was adequate. At the foot of her bed, I left it plugged in. She hasn't even attempted to use it.
What would I do if I didn't have this? I'm always freezing. When I'm reading, watching television, or lying in bed, I use this. Yes, the cord is short, but I keep my machine on a small chair next to my bed and it works fine. br>br>The price is a little high, in my opinion, but when you're miserable, you'll try anything. br>br>Has fallen out of the chair twice due to the dog, but it is still going strong.
And it's wonderful. I've been looking for a way to recreate the sensation of lying on our heat vent with a blanket when I was a little girl. That's not good enough. It's much warmer than a heat vent, sometimes excessively so, but it warms you up quickly when you're cold. If you're lying in bed, you'll need to put it on a chair. When I'm sitting on the couch, I use a step stool. The power cord is adequate, but the nozzle is on the short side.
Alaska is my home state. I was tired of having cold feet at bedtime, so I've been using this for 15 minutes every night for the past 12 nights, right before bed. It raises the temperature of the memory foam mattress and the sheets. To get toasty warm, wrap yourself in a blanket. Girlfriend thought it was a waste of money until she could snuggle with the Chihuahua in a warm bed at night. During the day, while reading a book, the cat sits on the couch. I've yet to use it as a boot dryer because I already own one.
When I plugged this item in, it immediately displayed error E05 and did nothing else. When this error occurs, the instruction manual recommends contacting a qualified repair technician or the manufacturer. br>Because the product was cold from delivery, I let it sit in the open air inside the house for a few hours to warm up to room temperature before trying again - It now functions flawlessly. br>This item was delivered in the dead of winter and sat on my porch in sub-zero temperatures for several hours before I brought it inside and plugged it in, where it displayed the error. I decided it needed to warm up because it was outside of the operating temperature range. br>Once it reached a normal temperature and started working, it worked flawlessly and appears to be a fantastic little product; sheets were toasty in just a few minutes.
That is exactly what has happened! Instead of hanging your futon out to dry in the sun during the winter/rainy season in Japan, these devices are used to dry your bedding. I only gave it four stars because I would prefer a longer hose and larger nozzle, as well as the inflatable bag attachment that some Japanese models include. The unit, on the other hand, produces enough heat to dry the futon. br>br>I prefer to use the dust mite/max option. 100 minutes on each side of the futon, twice. To dry out and take care of my futon, I do this once or twice a week.
