Medline HCSU4514S Supersoft Nasal Oxygen Cannula, Universal Connector, 7-Foot Tubing, Adult Size, Pack of 50

Because I have purchased this product twice, for some reason my original review of the product has disappeared, maybe because the original version of the product has changed vendors or ASINs. In spite of that, the SuperSoft Nasal Oxygen Cannula from Medline are everything the manufacturer says In my wife's case, she is on oxygen 24/7, and as you can imagine, sleeping with a nasal cannula made of hard plastic, like the Salter or other brands, leaves indentations on her face and causes sores and other discomforts. Quite a bit of discomfort may occur when you sleep on your side, but they are as good as it gets if you are a back sleeper (side sleepers, however, should have no problems at all) The result is the same when used during active daytime hours. All cannulas have one big complaint the rigid plastic portion of the oxygen line curls so much it gets in the way of what one needs to do. It was a soft gel, however It has a like facial portion that reduces stress on the face, fits comfortably over the ears without causing discomfort over time, and stays firmly in the nose. I also noticed a lack of the "plastic smell" other brands have. After going through the last 50 bags, I assume the brand will be updated to take advantage of this feature. Buying a second batch of 50 should be sufficient to confirm this is a good product and well worth the investment if you are considering it. Moreover, I would like to point out that since I last bought this Medline product, the connector end has turned into a "universal" end. Thank you for your help. There is an additional width on this and I suspect that was an intentional change for an issue others had that we didn't experience. As a result, it still connects easily to an oxygen canister of D or E size as well as to the double end of the connector that goes to the oxygen concentrator if you have a connection of more than 50 feet in length. There are many products out there that use soft facial cannulas, however this is one of the most satisfactory due to the fact that the regular tubing that comprises most of the cannula is equally comparable to some excellent latex free oxygen products.

Since the cannula I had been using on Amazon was no longer available, I bought the Medline 50 pack (a smaller amount option was not available as there had been for the first The last of the old cannulas I had been using over the years have been swapped out with the Medline. The old ones were horrible! It is inaccessible, so I cannot use it. After a few minutes, I developed a headache, a sore throat, and I could even tell the odor of plastic was present. After many months, I have decided to throw out the whole box since it has passed the return date.

Only push-on tubing has been seen in the past, either in the form of cannulas or extension tubes. Cannulas, on the other hand, are great! It fits nicely and does not look bulky like It would be nice if the picture of the end of the connected was available before purchasing. According to most feedbacks, these cannulas fit on portable devices so I'm wondering if they arrived in the wrong shape?.

Despite the need to use oxygen regularly and frequently, the SuperSoft is the only nasal cannula I have been able to find that is effective. Neither my face nor my lips have indentations. The product is free from irritation & The skin around my ears feels raw. A caveat I would like to give you, if you're considering a Medline Soft cannula, is to avoid it. The nasal part of the cannula is the only part that is There is a HARD connection hose that can irritate the skin. Didn't realize there was a difference between the two. We returned 50 of the "Soft" as soon as we received them. Company is the same. Products differ greatly from each other. There MUST be a SUPER SOFT label on the product. I will definitely buy Super Soft cannulas again. I will share them with friends and I will recommend them without hesitation.

I think they are great. The user says that the canula is like having spaghetti across his face, instead of a rigid, hard sharp canula. The connection between the oxygen concentrator and the user requires only 7 feet of cable. Purchasing longer cable with connectors, or purchasing SuperSoft canulas with longer cables, will enable you to obtain more cable length. Harder canulas leave indentations on the face. This does not happen with this canula. Only when sleeping does the user use the concentrator.

It was horrific the way the line wrapped around the ear! Lines were rigid and could not be corrected. I feel like I lost my money. The money (00) was wasted as this is not a useful product. A sedentary person might be able to use this. I found the part surrounding the ear to be stiff and uncomfortable to the point where it was impossible to use. The only way I could give it zero stars is to give it a zero! A rigid coil like the one in the photo! It's possible that they were left in extreme cold for.

It is with mixed feelings that I write this. Regarding the product, it is very comfortable and soft. wanted to let you know that this product is great for people with severe sulfite allergies. I have a severe sulfite allergy which makes my asthma flare up, as well as causing severe hand and foot cramps. Although I had tried using this needle, I kept getting a flare up of asthma as a result. Today I tried it again and within two hours my asthma flared up and I had to stop using the cannula due to severe cramping in my hands. In my opinion, it is a three-star product because it is soft and comfortable so people without allergies might not have any issues using it. However, I was disappointed that the product did not meet my expectations.

liked salter and when I bought this brand I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it is. The section over your ears is a very jelly-like rubber that feels strange at first but you will get used to it, and it becomes much less uncomfortable. This is a 5 star product for me, since the only thing on earth worth a 5 star is my wife ) Okay, I deducted one star because the flexing rubber sometimes gets in the way when you sleep. It won't slide around on your face, which is good, but sometimes you move while asleep and the headset is in need of adjustment. You don't need to worry about anything major.
