A sticky situation

A sticky oily film is attached to the ball and I can't wash it But I have tried dish soap and disinfectant wipes but it does not work. Have you had trouble with it? While you are using the ball, dog hair accumulates on the ball and it sticks to you and the floor. Besides that, it's ok (it looks like thin material), but not the best.
