I am trying to make my own. The ball is just the right size and would be perfect in every way if the inflation issue could be resolved. Once I removed the straw from it, it deflated, so I was unable to use it to blow it up. This is both frustrating and something that needs to be fixed. Instructions on how to inflate the ball can be found on their website. For this plan to work, you need lungs of steel in order to be able to blow it up enough so that the edges don't wrinkle from under inflation, but necessity is the mother of invention, and I intend to make it function. As a result, I took a strip of duct tape to cover the hole and pumped it up enough with the pump I had from another stability ball. The tip of the pump and the tape hold the air in long enough for me to insert the plug.
There's no point in playing with this ball. Inflating into the plug is impossible as the diameter of the inflating straw and the plug are the same. Therefore, you can't insert both in the hole. The result is that, every time you inflate the ball, it deflates during the time spent inserting It is best to be cautious when purchasing. There should be a refund for me!.
The size of this one would have been a bit too small for my Barre class. It turned out I needed to go up one size. It is in the color blue and is a You can inflate one of these about the size of a soda bottle with a straw if you plan to use it for barre. Those who hold the ball tightly between their leg and glute will find it comfortable and relaxing. Initially, I tried a regular playground ball, but it was too big, too inflated, and too slick to use at.
It could be better but it's not perfect. A fitness ball of the right size is ideal for pilates and barre classes. Having said that, as soon as you stop blowing into it the ball will start to deflate relatively rapidly. There's something wrong with the ball because it's not taut or round like If I use an electronic inflator, I will see if that changes.
There is something horribly wrong with the design. It is impossible to inflate it with your mouth through the stupid straw they give you, as there is no reverse valve to prevent leakage of air.
There is very little elasticity in it, so it is difficult to inflate. In any case it results in a quite soft ball when removing the inflation straw and inserting the plug, as it is such a small You can use a basketball needle to inflate the ball if it has a check valve.
I am unable to inflate this ball properly. The balloon deflates as soon as you remove the straw, so there are no seconds left.
I was unable to tell from the description or the picture that it was as hard as rock.
