There's no need for the gel. They can be easily repositioned while still holding their shape. Much better than 3M electrodes in terms of efficiency. Pads are excellent. This book comes highly recommended. br>There is no need for a gel. They can be easily repositioned while still holding their shape. The entire applied side of the pad conducts, resulting in a 2" square area of coverage, which is significantly more efficient than the 3M pads I purchased previously, and there is no stinging. br>br>The sticky side of these leaves no heavy residue and is easy to remove. br>If they lose their ability to stick to the skin after a while, I'll use a little gel and 3M's Transpore medical tape to keep them in place. It does a fantastic job of keeping electrodes in place. br>After only 6 hours of use, I could tell they were significantly more effective than the other supplements I was using. br>br>Update from the past two weeks: After two weeks of use, I am extremely impressed with these pads. I'm still amazed at how sticky the pads are after all this time.
Because the Compex electrode pads are ridiculously expensive, I bought these electrode pads to use with my Compex Sport Elite. The reason I gave two stars is because the snaps were too small, causing the electrode cables to detach, rendering them useless.
Not only are the 4 snap on electrodes sticky side on a thin sheet of plastic slipped into an individual plastic bag, but the 10 bags of 4 count electrodes in individually sealed bags are housed in a larger resealable plastic bag to keep the moisture in and the sticky gel side of the electrodes moist enough to adhere to the skin. The contact between the electrodes is also excellent. At a reasonable price, this is an excellent product.
I'm not sure what they're supposed to be used for. They also don't work with my TENS unit. They don't work with my Compex EMS, which is what I wanted them to do, and they don't work with my TENS, which I didn't expect. What do they work with?.
I received a completely different item than the one I had ordered. There were supposed to be 40 snap on electrodes, but I only got four cord electrodes that were terrible and couldn't even be used if they were the right item.
The price is excellent, and despite my PT's claim that "she hasn't seen snap on pads in 20 years" (which she said with such contempt), I believe they outperform the others that slide in. STIMs with snap-in connectors are hard to come by. on electrodes, but I believe those who do know what they're doing! I've bought a few machines in the past, and they've all been snappy. These pads are durable and long-lasting, and they pack a bigger punch.
They can be used over and over again. My husband can use it even on his oily skin. Unfortunately, the ones that came with my machine are a waste of time. I only get three treatments out of them. The old round ones wouldn't stick to my husband's skin. These are the kinds of things that keep coming up again and again. Since I purchased them, I have set a price. Amazingly well-made item!!.
