The side that comes into contact with the skin is made of carbon rubber, while the other is made of silicone.

Is this something that can be used multiple times?

Yes, it. Alcohol can be wiped on it, then washed with soap and water and reused. It has a rubberized finish. With a muscle stimulator, it works just fine.

Is a 2 mm single pin required for this item?

This pad only has one pin.

The adhesive used on the adhesive TENS causes severe allergic reactions in me

The adhesive used on adhesive TENS electrodes (even those claiming to be hypoallergenic) causes severe allergic reactions in me. IN ANY CASE, THESE NON- Electrodes that are adhered to the skin work extremely well. The electrodes are taped to my back after I apply some conducting gel. There is no longer any oozing rash. Thank you very much!.

It's a great alternative to the adhesive pads, which I can't wear for long without causing blistering rashes. They're flexible enough for my back and chest areas to maintain contact with tape or a tight-fitting undershirt, so I can keep them in place all day and run the tens a little longer without getting adhesive burns. With a well-fitted supported lead wire connection area, this product is extremely durable. I wish Amazon had a larger selection of sizes.
