My last one was Pyrex and I purchased it from SEOH earlier this year. "No. " was the part number on this item. The machine was marked as being "Made in Germany", and it carried the part "4980". In spite of this, it is not the flask in the pic which appears to be another brand. I recommend you talk to the vendor before ordering to be sure it is Pyrex.
Typically, I use a cork stopper with a 1 3/4" diameter. For cooking beans, I use the flask!
The first of the year. There are some thousandths of an inch difference between 75 and 76 inches. Micrometers are not available to me to be precise.
With the stir plate, it is the perfect flask to use. To start my own home-brewed beer, I use mine as a yeast starter. Here are the three flasks I have A 2000ml tube, a 2000ml tube, and a 3000ml tube. flask is the only flask on which the graduations have remained after repeated soakings in star san. The quality of its products far surpasses others in its field. In general, I use the Pyrex 3000ml flask for my big yeast starters since it has a higher volume. However, I would purchase a Pyrex 3000ml if Pyrex made a 3000ml. We are certain that this flask won't disappoint you. Thanks a lot!

Another non-essential is There is a high level of shock sensitivity in Pyrex flasks that I have used. If you bump it just wrong, they will shatter. They can handle the heat, but if you bump them too hard, It appears to be heavier and have thicker glass than the previous version. Despite using this item four times, I have not encountered any issues. (Well packaged) Item was delivered as advertised and I didn't experience any problems with it. There's no power.
You know what you're getting. It is made of Pyrex. It is the second one I have Price is not very different from all those knockoff brands with cracks and Some of the cheaper products are seconds that we should destroy, according to my theory. It is made from real Pyrex and is in perfect condition. The flask I bought is for brewing, so it goes from stove top flame to ice bath, and I don't want 2 liters of sticky wort to spill on my stove because I saved a few bucks on a.
My starters were in our lab glassware and it did not feel right to use that so I purchased an Erlenmeyer flask for my starters. Although others pointed out that I didn't receive a Pyrex flask, I didn't realise that I wasn't getting an original. My situation is different though, as it is the real thing. It has already been used to make my starter and it went through the autoclave once. The opening is not as narrow as it sounds, and it is not likely to spill stuff when either is poured into it or taken out as it goes through the autoclave. Don't forget to grab a stir bar while you're at it!.
I think you can't really say too much, Pyrex is a good brand of laboratory glassware, and this flask is no exception. If you compare two brands side-by-side, you will find some cheaper alternatives Compare them side by side, and you can tell how many corners they're cutting. It is interesting to note that the graduations on the side of the flask only go up to 18 There are no markings on the final 200 ml graduation of the flask, which will hold 2,000 ml. There are marked graduations starting at 600 ml and increasing to 1,800 ml in increments of 200 The only thing I would like to mention is the flask is marked to take a stopper #10. My opinion is that it is a 9. It actually fits better with a 5 stopper. There is a #10 stopper that fits but the top of it is still above the flask mouth when inserted. The number 9 is used. 50% of the 5 stopper is above the mouth, which allows the stopper to seal better with the flask because there is more surface area in contact with the flask. It may be viewed differently by others, but this is how I see it.
Getting this baby was a delight, and the yeast starter did well. There was less noise from the stirplate, since it ran at a slower speed As for my starter, it was foamy! The little time and investment it took to update this old, smaller piece was well worth it.
But 3 liters of flasks are too big for experiments. Having a flask with ample headspace is likely to provide ample room for yeast starters when cultured in 1 liter portions. Glass that is flawless, solid, and solid. This is a very beautiful picture. Glassware of this quality is quite expensive, but Pyrex does not compromise on quality.
Packaged well in a box and padded, this came to me in good condition. ). In fact, it is a Pyrex flask that is "real" There is no knock-off from Korea or China There's no power. Since my starters used to be 1 liter, I am moving to 2 liters. The 2 liter flask is so much larger than the 1. 5 liter flask! You can have so many more tasks accomplished. The bottom of this stir bar is flat and works well with both my stir plate and the Scienceware 2" stir bar.
I was pleased with how it turned out. Your work is great, and you took the time to do it right the first time.
