I have an older 12 piece set in Snap-on. It's a shame to lose the colors, since they all match together. These days, handles are made in a different way. They are four sided, and they don't roll very well in the hand. The rubber "O" rings quickly slip out of these since they roll in my hand. There was no rust on my set, it was straight and in good condition. It appears in one of the pictures either on Amazon. com or on Channel Lock's site that the tools in the package had rust! The set is superb so far. I am very happy with it. There can't be any rust inside a refrigerant line. Once the rust starts to show, the barrels will be discarded. My aim is to buy tools that are made in the US first, Canada second, Japan third, and Germany fourth. China will surpass the U. S. as the world's largest economy in the near future. It's not necessary for me to give them Checking Channel Lock 1st first to see if their tools will work is my standard procedure. Hopefully they last. Thanks The United States! The United States!.

Taking the picture as well as the dimensions of the seller's product as a guide, I assumed these picks would be the same size and length as a regular The two are not the same. dimensions provided for this pick set are for packaging, not for the product itself. I suppose I should have been more attentive, but the lack of size information in the product description and dimensions I ordered is a bit misleading as of 12/31/17, the date I ordered it. *All that being said, the pick set is American made and my initial impression of the picks is that they are of good quality, so I won't be returning.

The pick set is sturdy and well made. It was previously hat the harbor freight 6 or so pieces, and they were quite easily bent. Despite being sharp and having nice handles, these picks look the part. Due to their shorter length, they work well for grabbing O rings as they aren't very bendy. In the event that I ever lost or sold these, I would buy the same set to replace I used these in a diesel shop for a short time and found that their smaller size made them perfect for the finer tasks I tend to undertake.

I am so glad to have There is about a $40 Mayhew Dominator series set that I almost got and have been trying to find a USA made pick set. Afterwards, I found this set for $10 and took advantage of the great deal. These picks are rather high quality, as I am absolutely delighted to say. Upon opening the box of picks, the picks are very sharp and have a solid feel to them. These are much better than the cheap ones found at hardware stores and I use them for locksmithing work. Any tool user who works with tools should have a set of these because they are quite versatile and useful for a wide range of projects. Since this set is great quality at an affordable price, there's no need to think twice about buying it.
