Questions & Answers

Do you know if it will work with the Klien Tools amp clamp/ mutimeter?

The answer should be yes

How much space does the carrying case have for a full size meter?

In this case, my meter a Fluke 77 will not fit.

I was wondering if the TL 289 test leads have a similar amperage rating as the Fluke TL81A test leads? Would it be possible to link me to the rating information for both?

There is no difference in the actual test leads between the two sets. The circuit will continue to draw 20 amps for 30 seconds while holding 10 amps.

Is there a way to use this kit with the Fluke ?

It is not possible for me to directly answer your question, Eric. When I bought the TL-100, I was very pleased with it To go with my 87V, I purchased this 80 kit. It has worked just as well as any other accessory.

There are so many Fluke accessories that are worthy of the brand
5/5

At work, I use my DMM almost every day since I work as an AutoTech installer for Geek Squad. I have found this kit to be of great assistance. Among this kit's many excellent features, the piercing probes are easily the best. It is better to test wires instead of having to go searching for them at the source and test them directly They should be pinned into place. These emulation tools can also be used for the testing of mocked up circuits, depending on the application. As a result, be aware that 60VDC at 5A is the maximum ratings. You don't want to climb any higher than that to prevent the needle in the probe from heating up and melting the core. Feel free to ask me how I know this. bought a second kit to replace the probe I ruined because I loved these probes). In this case, the wire leads are Around 5, the sun began to set. About 3ft tall. Using them as backup leads is a better solution for me since they're a little too long. Nonetheless, the rest of the accessories work fine with the shorter lead wires I have been using for quite some time on my DMM. * * * * The alligator clips are excellent. The teeth are extremely sharp and they will not slide when you clamp them properly. Most of the time I use my meter to find horn wires, test polarities on ignition circuits, and other bits and pieces of information, and my default tips are an alligator clip and a piercing probe. It's even packaged in its own pouch with pockets, which makes it very convenient. This allows you to take it everywhere you go, or leave it unrolled in your tool box if you want to peek inside each pocket without having to dig.
If you work in the automotive industry with electronics on a regular basis, this kit is sure not to disappoint you. There are some similar kits on Amazon also worth the extra money, but this one is 100% worth it. I have been very happy with this kit, and I use it almost every day of my working life. It's just another reason to trust Fluke and like the brand.

But again, make sure you don't use more than 5A through the probes or else you will regret it.

Any meter can be made better with it
5/5

In the past two years, I've found that few circuits could not be easily, quickly and securely accessed with only the components in this kit. Adding these enlarged contacts to old equipment solved the issue of large contacts in old equipment but not all other types In a nutshell,.

I'm sure you'll be glad you did

It would be impossible to find a similar set at such a low price, but compared to purchasing the contents of this set individually it is a great deal. If thirty years' worth of multi meter test leads, clamps, probes, and adapters suddenly vanish from the back of your truck, it is also something to talk your wife into buying you for your anniversary. Thankfully, my Fluke 179 meter was not in my tool box in the back of my truck when it decided to stand up on its own. A set of 60-inch test leads have one end that is right angle (on one end), As a matter of fact, the entire product, including the case, meets Flukes' I found the TPAK magnetic hanger very handy to have, and it works with my Fluke 179 meter. My case is made of polyester and has a Velcro-sealed divider so that I can separate my 179 DMM from the rest of my gear. Among the set's accessories, this was the only accessory that stood out. There is a difference between the case it ships in and the one shown. As can be seen from the photos, the Fluke logo on my case is that of the carrying case on the C115 In a nutshell,.

They're nice leads, but they're way too expensive
3/5

$50 is a good price for this set of leads. For over $100 instead of the usual The options that are more cost adequate without the Fluke name on them are available for less than 00. I liked the overall quality of the product and the assortment of attachments available, which met the majority of my requirements.
