My mother worked as an ortho assistant, and when we moved, we needed to find a new dentist to remove my daughter's cemented-in braces. in the retainer I placed an order for these, and my mother came to my rescue. She quickly removed the retainer. It had a very high quality feel to it. I'm not sure if the gold plating is genuine, but it appears to be.
